Just another Shooterironman517 | Jan. 5, 2014 | Review of Battlefield 3 NA Origin (1) - PC
I am not a shooter fanatic, but this game is pretty good. I bought Battlefield 3 because it was over hyped. I ended up building an amazing gaming PC and I wanted to push it to the limits. Battlefield 3 does that. The graphics, and physics are amazing. The details in the game are wonderful. Vehicles are very fun once you get used to them. When I first started out, I just used a jet to get to a specific location and parachuted out. But after a while, you can get used to actually flying. My biggest problem with the game is that it is just another shooter. This game is virtually the same as every other shooter out there. A game with little customization, but focused on multi-player.
Very Pretty MMORPGironman517 | Jan. 5, 2014 | Review of FINAL FANTASY XIV A Realm Reborn NA Post - PC
Honestly, I only bought this game because my friends were playing it at the time. But I had a blast while playing. The graphics in this game are very good when compared to other MMOs, it might not be as good as Skyrim, but as far as MMORPGs go, it has some of the best graphics out there. It has a pretty open world, you can level in different places depending on your level. You often have the opportunity to level in multiple places. This game, as well as many other MMORPG's is very grind heavy. You grind levels, you grind out your gear and you raid. The problem I have with this game is that the endgame gear is very boring, it has no customization, or variety. Everyone looks the same at the end game. This game is great for people that like to level many characters in a MMO since you can level all of your classes with only 1 character. If you do not like to level multiple characters, you might get pretty bored on your off raid days.
Fun game to play with friendsironman517 | Jan. 5, 2014 | Review of Sid Meiers Civilization V - PC
This game is absolutely excellent. It is great to play with friends and family. The possibilities are endless. It has steam workshop which allows increased playability. Also, you have so much extra game play with all of the expansions. Games can last long or short and with multi-player turn sharing, it makes the game much faster than it did in old civ games. I can always go back between games and play a little civilization here and there. The Scenarios are so much fun. I wish that Civ did not hog up so much CPU resources. I have an excellent overclocked i5 and It cannot handle multi-player end game content with city-states. I can play single player with city states, but multi-player with city-states becomes laggy. All in all, this game is great and I highly recommend it.
