The Dawn of an Eraitsjbro | Nov. 26, 2013 | Review of Grand Theft Auto III
This started all the "open world" 3d games. And this is just the beginning of greatness, as each installment in the "Grand Theft Auto" series gets better from here. The story and crazy amount of missions are top notch. The music and voice acting is superb. If you enjoyed this on your console, you'll enjoy it even more in native 1080p graphics. Even with the "not HD textures" this game, to me, stands the test of time.
I'm Still Batmanitsjbro | Nov. 26, 2013 | Review of Batman Arkham City: Game of the Year
Arkham Asylum, in my opinion, is a masterpiece. And considering that was a masterpiece, this being an even better game makes it something like an.... epic amazing masterpiece symphony. Okay well not that extreme but still. The game play is top notch, and the extra freedom you have to explore your Dark Knight Side is very appreciated. But it doesn't just stop at Batman, you can be Cat Woman, Robin, and Nightwing. And they all have a unique play style that makes them stand out from one another. I couldn't recommend this more. In fact, even if you didn't play Arkham Asylum this stands on it's own two feet. I wish I could give it more then 100/100.
A Nice Storyitsjbro | Nov. 26, 2013 | Review of Alan Wake
If by nice you mean "involving the forces of darkness". The Story presented in this game is top notch. While this "survival horror" game isn't going to scare the pants off you, you may find yourself jumping out of your seat at least a few times. The game play is pretty darn solid. Not the most fun you can ever have, but the story will keep you hooked until you've beaten it. I'm definitely glad I gave this overlooked gem a shot. (Ps. It's from the makers of Max Payne 1 and Max Payne 2 so you know they're some quality game makers who know how to tell a good story)
Badassitsjbro | Nov. 22, 2013 | Review of Borderlands
It's like Call of Duty in terms of shooter mechanics, and The Elder Scrolls (Oblivion, Skyrim) in terms of RPG mechanics. I sank roughly 32 hours beating the story with only a handful of side quests completed. Once you beat it you get New Game+ which lets you carry over all your cash, your loot, and your level and start the game over again. I could easily see myself sinking another 30+ hours into this masterpiece. It's a game that is beyond worth your money. And I didn't even mention that you can play the whole game from beginning to end in 4 player co-op. This, and it's sequel Borderlands 2 are the only games out right now I feel obligated to give "100 out of 100" on.
I'm Batmanitsjbro | Nov. 22, 2013 | Review of Batman: Arkham Asylum Game of the Year
"I'm Batman!" Is what I was thinking the whole time playing this entertaining gem. From beginning to end, you get your money's worth. Countless riddler trophies to collect, big bad boss fights, and an endless supply of thugs who need a dose of The Dark Knights justice. Took me roughly 18 hours to beat the story and I still have loads of challenge modes to tackle. For a game that's worth your money, this is a no brainer.
Awesome with a side of Amazingitsjbro | Nov. 20, 2013 | Review of Hitman: Absolution
I've spent 9 hours completing every challenge for THE FIRST 2 MISSIONS! I'm hooked, and I'm glad I re-bought this on PC after selling my Xbox 360 version. I don't know how many hours I'll end up sinking into this game, but with the first 2 missions alone I've got my money worth. If you liked Hitman Blood Money, this is more of the same. Which is a GOOD thing.
GOTY even when it's not the GOTY Version.itsjbro | Nov. 20, 2013 | Review of Borderlands 2 (NA)
If you even slightly enjoyed Borderlands 1, Borderlands 2 kicks it up about 20 notches. Lots of improvements like a mini map on your hud, new classes, and infinite awesome new weapons. The more colorful pallet used makes Borderlands prettier then ever. If you have any doubts, drop them off at the kiddy pool and dive into the deep end.
