The first thing that you'll notice when you play TR 2013 is this: Lara Croft is gorgeous. But don't let her looks fool you, she kicks ass! Now let's break down what makes this game great. Graphics: The graphics are amazing. Lush forests, eerie dungeons, the water is fantastic, and all the lighting effects combine to create a living, breathing - but deadly - island for Lara to explore. Lara herself looks outstanding, and the enemies look great, too. Animation quality is top-notch. You'll notice it on the way that Lara's movement changes depending on the environment. It's excellent. Sound: Nothing much to say here, pretty standard affair. Nothing memorable, but they get the job done. Music: The music, on the other hand, is great. It helps a lot in setting the mood. Whether while exploring, or fighting enemies. The music will make you relax, or make your adrenaline pumping. Gameplay: It's so much fun. Combat is very well made. Difficulty is very good. The system for skills and weapon upgrades is very balanced and upgrading those feels very rewarding. Whether you like shooting people with arrows, bullets, flaming arrows, exploding bullets, exploding arrows, etc. You'll have fun here. Not to mention the very creative puzzles in the game. You'll have a lot of good time. Replayability: Story can be finished in 8-12 hours. But with all the collectibles, and the multiplayer mode, you can squeeze out more game time from this game. Overall: You will have a blast playing this game. The game will make you care about Lara, making it agonizing when you fail and she dies. Which will happen. A lot. And once you beat it, you'll be left asking for more. Play it!
