a Short review

karnage10 | May 31, 2013 | Review of Dead Island

In short: positives ->great for multiplayer ->ok crafting system ->can disable "parts" of zombies (you can break/cut the arms/legs) ->ok loot system ->rewards exploration negatives: ->player classes are "meh" -> boring storyline making it almost a chore to play in singleplayer ->graphics are so-so ->NPCs rarely help you ->repeated quests barely give any Xp or money making me wonder why are they in the game.

More content for borderlands 2! is it worth the price

karnage10 | Dec. 27, 2012 | Review of Borderlands 2 Season Pass -

This is a must buy for all those that want to keep playing borderlands 2, that want more borderlands 2. it gives refreshing new locations to explore and few other interesting things that i won't spoil for you... This is a great price for the content it offers, however i feel they should i have tried to make more changes, take more risk with some of the DLC. In short this is great for those that are looking for more borderlands 2 but it doesn't add anything very different from the original.

PC finally gets "the console version"

karnage10 | Sept. 11, 2012 | Review of FIFA 12

this fifa is very similar to the fifa 12 for the consoles. for the first time PC is on the same field of the consoles. i have both the 360 version and this one and they work very similar at a gameplay level. the graphics however are superior on the PC, it can also run at higher resolutions than the console counterparts.if you are a football fan the PC version is the best for FIFA 12. it is also importat o mention that a gamepad is necessary to fully enjoy this game. it also has origin DRM.

average third person shooter

karnage10 | Sept. 8, 2012 | Review of Kane & Lynch: Dead Men

this game is an average third person shooter. it has interesting characters and a good storyline but with it's short size it's hard to recommend. The graphics in this game are quite good and they have many effect and little details that make this game look very good. Where this game shines is having the entire singleplayer game available for CO-OP,so if you have a friend that also enjoys a TPS this is a very good experience. The multiplayer has the normal type of matches and doesnt add anything new .

In short, if you and a friend are looking for a nice co-op game feel free to explore kane and lynch, if not pass this game or you will probably be disapointed.

RO2 is a worthy succesor to the original RO.

karnage10 | Aug. 31, 2012 | Review of Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad

If you played the original RO then you should now that this sequel is well worth the price. great graphics, sound and an even better gameplay make this one of the best WW2 FPS games.

For those that don't know, red orchestra is a WW2 FPS focused on multiplayer. this game aims to be a bit more realistic then the current arcade shooter by adding mechanics such as suppressive fire, 1 shot at the hearts kills instantly, stamina, etc. all these mechanics combine with a cover system make this game extremely interesting. the cover system is what really sets this game apart from its competitors. It works in first person view and allows you to use cover with ease.the sound, graphics plus the environment make an excellent WW2 atmosphere.

Where this game fails is the singleplayer which is essentially multiplayer with bots.

In short this game is for anyone that wants a more realistic multiplayer shooter in WW2 scenario.

Is dawnguard a good piece of DLC?

karnage10 | Aug. 11, 2012 | Review of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Dawnguard (EU)

the dawnguard expansion focuses on vampires. In a nutshell you have two main questlines and you can only do one. you can either be a vampire Lord or a vampire hunter.each lasts around 15 hours plus extra time for secondary and radiant quests. on top of all of this you get a new weapon, a crossbow. this weapon works similar to bow except that it is easier to aim since the arrow goes in a more straight line but it takes a bit longer to reload.you will also have access to new buff and armours for each side of the conflict. Another point of interest is Serana one of the best chars Bethesda has created. her interactions with the players chars is just outstanding. in a nutshell dawnguard is a must buy for skyrim fans. if you are either bored of skyrim or don't care much about vampires then i sugest to wait until the price drops. this expansion isn't as impressive as shivering isles but it sure impressed me.
