Amazing fast paced action.manu981 | Sept. 26, 2013 | Review of Gun Monkeys
Don't go on the price, this game will blow you off, once you learn how to play it. But of course, for that you need to be patient. Minimalist controls (as you'd expect in an indie), breathtaking graphics and great sound effects. Tried it on this free weekend and it swept me off. Additionally, its essence is a multi-player game, so you can either enjoy it with your mates, or challenge random people in a server lobby. Played it for like an hour or so, didn't find a glitch, except the fact that it takes a while to understand the interface, as I said, requires patience.
A fun game! But not perfect.manu981 | Sept. 25, 2013 | Review of Leviathan: Warships
Easy controls, drag and drop, right click game with a load of customization options. Great for a multiplayer battle of wits. There are a few things the tutorials might not tell you, but once you get into the game, you get a hold of it. Could have been more fun if the the AI an the boat maneuverability was better.
Does justice to its predecessor!manu981 | Sept. 25, 2013 | Review of Hitman 2: Silent Assassin
Requires a lot of patience. Similar to the first game, the missions are delivered to you via your trustworthy laptop. Each task given to you needs to be executed meticulously, or you die. One big change over the first game the addition of a save system. Based on the difficultly level you choose, a certain number of saves are allotted for each mission. Sometimes you'd find yourself lost on the large and lonely street maps.
A great classic!manu981 | Sept. 25, 2013 | Review of Hitman: Codename 47
Played this game much recently, if you too do now, the graphics won't amuse you, because this game dates way back in time. However, to note, the level of difficulty is great, was pretty much for me without the video walk through of course. Starting from the first mission itself, snipe and rendezvous. Afterwards, it's all about hit and trial, you commit mistakes, die, and then do it again, the other way. Absorbing storyline and the AI is commendable.
Amazing co-op game!manu981 | Sept. 25, 2013 | Review of Payday 2
As the title says, the game is amazing primarily for the co-op part of it, bot AI is way too weak to carry out a heist. The plus point about the co-op is that, frequent randomization of the security, which always keeps you on your nerves, and the lengthy firefights. Maps can be confusing at times, some discrepancies in graphics and game-play do exist. A challenging game!
This game is Massive!manu981 | Sept. 25, 2013 | Review of Total War: Rome II Emperor Edition
The scale of the game is massive! Campaigns are great and meaningful.
The number of factions they have included in this title is astounding, both playable and unplayable.
There are a few issues with interface performance and AI but the Total war series has had a history of great support in terms of patches/new content/DLCs etc in the long term.
Great game, new experience, great musicmanu981 | Sept. 25, 2013 | Review of LA Noire
A captivating game, however, the story is a little repetitive and predictable, nonetheless, the game gives you the freedom to explore the world as you want; this has been Rockstar's signature all along.
Searching for clues and interrogating suspects and witnesses is addictive and entertaining. Occasional bugs and stuttering. Not much re-playability.
