Addicting and easy!oipluckie | June 22, 2014 | Review of Dwarfs - PC
Just a simple game that can keep you busy in short bursts or for hours on end. The comical voice done by the one and only Simon is also an added bonus! It's not a game with an amazing storyline but something to pass the time. Give it a try if you find it on sale or give it a try now, it's worth it.
Great TW game as alwaysoipluckie | May 18, 2013 | Review of Napoleon Total War - PC
This one massively improves on the performance and visual of Empire TW. The only problem I had with Napoleon TW was that the special formation firing and such seem to have been taken out and reserved for only some of the special units. I really enjoyed managing all my buildings, research, diplomacy, and economy in this game compared to other TW games. So if you're wondering about the battles, well they're amazingly beautiful, though the AI may get stuck here and there trying to get into formation but it can be looked over at times even though it may be frustrating. The visuals are improved and they managed to even improve performance as well. The ship battles depends on your preference I think, I really enjoyed it alot just watching my cannon fire just tear the enemies' ship to pieces. All in all, I feel it's a great game even though the units may get stuck or bugged, it is something I find miniscule to such a great game. Really excited for Rome II!
Amazing and at your own paceoipluckie | Sept. 26, 2012 | Review of Guild Wars 2 Digital Deluxe Edition NA (1) - PC
Don't know what the deal is with the last guy's review but the game isn't "grindy". Though in essence all MMOs are "grindy" since you have to do something to level up. Though that's where Guild Wars 2 does an amazing job at is the leveling at your own pace. I could level up by just walking around, crafting, gathering, doing events, sidequests and main quests. I think I missed a few more things you could do to level up but yea...the game lets you do things at your own pace and not feel like you have to struggle to level up. I've hit level 80 without even trying and still playing since you can still gain skill points after hitting the level cap. You use the skill points to purchase items and recipes. There is plenty to do in the game, but be warned that some things may seem to difficult if done alone. Also this is not your usual mmo where you have classes that are stuck to a certain profession (Healing, Tank, Damage). I think Guild Wars 2 could've done several small things better and would've been the perfect game but it's so far good enough for me.
