Jumping straight into Human Revolution, I was extremely happy to say that this game is worth your money. The dialogue is fantastic, gunplay is decent (It definitely is not the main focus though.), and the stealth is freakin rad. Seriously. Forget Metal Gear. This just feels much more natural. Combat takes strategy. Run in guns blazing? Dead. Hide and wipe them out? Alive. Leveling up in this game is very interesting. As you level up, you get 'Praxis Points', which you can spend on 'augmentations' for your character. Not only does this fit perfectly with the story, it also is really engaging. Do I get the Hacking skill? Or do I want to see through walls? You can't pick them all, so some thought goes into this. CONS: Graphics are... eh... dated. Very playable, just not Amazing. My major gripe is the forced bossfights. The stealth that you might've been using the whole time is worth nothing with these encounters. You have to blast them to bits, with your guns. Not really engaging, just mindeless. Don't let this get to you. There are only a few boss fights, and the atmosphere of the game more than makes up for the graphics. Buy this game. I rest my case.

What is $3.48 to you?

omnipotentgrape | Aug. 22, 2011 | Review of VVVVVV - PC

VVVVVV is great. Let's just get that out of the way. Whether you are the completion freak, or the platformer master, there is something for everyone. This is not a platformer in the traditional sense. You "jump" by reversing your gravity. This mechanic really made the game interesting. The game is not especially hard, unless you want to collect all the extras. However, this is completely optional. The music is first rate. Loved it. So, even if you have the first $3.48 you ever made on you, you should definitely get this game. First rate platformer.
