This would be a great game, it's basically Mass Effect in a spy setting, with a timed conversation system which provides much more tense moments in the game. However, this game is completely let down by bugs, some rendering it unplayable (stuttery mouse unless you're constantly at 60 FPS) and the combat can be frustrating with the only guns being of any use are the pistols, making it quite shallow.

An otherwise great game plagued by the fact that the port sucks

owned2260 | Jan. 18, 2013 | Review of Devil May Cry 4 - PC

DMC4 is a fairly good game, but this port of it isn't too good, there are not that many graphical options, which isn't too bad since the game isn't too intensive, but some gamers might be displeased. It can get very repetitive so if you're not into this sort of game, I would not recommend it.

Very good

owned2260 | Jan. 18, 2013 | Review of Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition - PC

Basically the same game as the previous 2 iterations of SF4, but now with all the wonders of DLC. Yeah, it's a great game, but Capcom are clearly milking it, the game does not need 3 different versions. At least they didn't cut off the community by making this version of the game separate online to the regular SSF4.

Good, Not as good as 4 though

owned2260 | Jan. 18, 2013 | Review of Resident Evil 5 - PC

It's a decent enough game, they improved the shooting, but the inventory ui is too clunky, and you're still not able to move, this came out after games like Dead Space so there was no excuse not to be able to move. The coop partner is dumb and will only follow basic commands, and the only use she has is carrying all your stuff. Would recommend playing with an actual human being. If you want a good third person horror shooter, play Dead Space or RE4, if you want a good third person shooter with coop, you won't do much by playing this.

Very atmospheric shooter.

owned2260 | Dec. 30, 2012 | Review of Metro 2033 (1) - PC

Very creepy, claustrophobic FPS. Sound design is easily some of the best in recent memory, next to Dead Space and Battlefield. The shooting mechanics aren't the best, but they're not bad. Some quite interesting game mechanics, such as having to pump up your flashlight, or using a pneumatic pump to make certain guns stronger. Warning though, play the game in English, don't try to be some edgy teen, the Russian voice over is awful and you will miss out on some ambient dialogue.

A vast improvement over the original.

owned2260 | Dec. 23, 2012 | Review of Assassins Creed 2 Deluxe Edition - PC

Fixes everything that was wrong with the original, making it less monotonous and generally more fun to play. All of the characters are very well done, except from the villains as they all seem to be very one dimensional evil people (which AC3 fixes). However, combat is far too easy and is essentially just countering, as only one enemy attacks at a time.

Easily the best game of this year

owned2260 | Dec. 23, 2012 | Review of Far Cry 3 - PC

One of the best games of the year. Takes the best aspects from the original Far Cry, blends it with some elements from Assassin's Creed and also adds RPG elements. Fixes every problem I had with Far Cry 2, so no more having to worry about rusty weapons and malaria. The villains are very interesting, the best in my opinion being Buck and Vaas, although Jason and his friends are the epitome of bro (in a bad way). However, it can get monotonous doing some of the side activities such as the Wanted Dead.

Realistic WW2 FPS

owned2260 | Dec. 23, 2012 | Review of Red Orchestra 2 Heroes of Stalingrad - PC

Great game, very realistic, if you get hit you're either going to bleed out slowly, bleed out fast and die, or just die. although it's got it's fair share of problems like a lot of object pop in. Can also get quite frustrating getting killed all the time if you're not very good.

The best Batman game

owned2260 | Dec. 22, 2012 | Review of Batman Arkham Asylum Steam - PC

Not only the best best Batman game, it's also one of the best games of the generation. The combat system is just amazing, and will make you feel like a badass, and the story is very good, and is made much better with most of the voice actors from the animated series. However the game is very linear, and the only reason to go off the beaten path is to get riddler trophies, which can get annoying after a while.

COD has another thing coming

owned2260 | Dec. 14, 2012 | Review of Heavy Fire Afghanistan - PC

The shooting mechanics in this game feel great, and the graphics overall are easily the best things I've seen in the last 10 years, giving Crysis a run for it's money. The story deals with very mature and complex themes, such as soldiers and their psychological problems, as well the problems with their families at home, providing a very emotional story.
