Land A'Hoy!paddyg | Sept. 14, 2013 | Review of Ship Simulator Extremes: Collection
The look and feel of this game is pretty darn good. Handling for all the different ships feels alright. The simulation side of things are very polished too. Yes as a previous reviewer said, some of the textures look unfinished and perhaps will slightly down-grade your experience but overall I rate this simulator highly. To the sees!
Great sequelpaddyg | Sept. 14, 2013 | Review of Total War: Rome II Emperor Edition
The first Rome Total War was superb. Great gameplay and a super example of a RTS. Rome 2 takes nothing away from that and a great improvement is the graphics. This game looks phenomenal. It might take a good 20Gigs of space but it's worth it! I love it. Fully recommend.
Unbelievable Jeff!paddyg | Sept. 14, 2013 | Review of Football Manager 2013
This game is just intense. Can you make yourself known in the world of football? Well why not find out with one of the most realistic football manager simulators. Sign that top player you've always wanted in your side. Take your club to the top of the league and get European success! Fully worth the money, it has in built multiplayer too so why not challenge a friend?
Great Funpaddyg | Aug. 15, 2013 | Review of WRC FIA World Rally Championship
Looking for a rally game? One that is realistic and fun to play? Then look no further than this title. With licensed teams and cars this adds to the realism. The driving physics also helps. Graphically this game looks alright and is very easy to look at. Worth a purchase.
The Best Truck Sim I've Played,paddyg | Aug. 15, 2013 | Review of Euro Truck Simulator 2
Using a racing/steering wheel with this title is a great plus to the experience. Drive around Europe delivering cargo; ranging from food stuffs to dangerous chemicals. Improve your skill by driving well and completing jobs. Earn enough money and you can upgrade and start building your freight empire like Eddie Stobart. Well worth a go!
Good Funpaddyg | Aug. 15, 2013 | Review of Call of Duty: Black Ops II
Multiplayer is where the fun is in the Call of Duty franchise and this does not disappoint. Varied perks, many more weapons and better kill streaks allows for a very gripping and addictive multiplayer game. The story is as good as the first Black Ops, with Mason back in the game. Worth a purchase even if you just want hours of fun shooting friends!
By far the best CoDpaddyg | Aug. 15, 2013 | Review of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
CoD4: Modern Warfare is by far the best of the series. It has the best multiplayer experience. Fixed kill streaks means that campers are not able to single handedly able to win matches. The story is pretty gripping and would be a block buster if it was turned into a movie! Thoroughly recommend.
Hours of Co-Op fun!paddyg | Aug. 15, 2013 | Review of Payday 2
Overkill Software have really pulled one out the bag for this one! The original Payday: The Heist was a heap of fun but Payday 2 is much improved on that. Better customization of weapons, perks (skills), skulls and your safehouse. You can branch into any (or all) of the four different classes: Ghost, Technician, Enforcer and Mastermind. Each specialise in different things. The Ghost is the stealth master, the Technician can operate drills faster and plant down a sentry gun. The Enforcer kicks the ass of the enemy and has improved armour. The Mastermind is the ultimate at capturing people and collecting loot faster. Select the best perks from across the four classes and you'll soon be on your way to making a ton of money. Rob banks, Malls, Cocaine smuggling and many many more to come! 92/100.
Fifa 12 with improved Ultimate Teampaddyg | Aug. 11, 2013 | Review of FIFA 13 (EU)
EA do this every year. Re-releasing the same basic game but with updates to squads, strips, sponsors and Ultimate Team however we all still buy it! Graphically the game hasn't improved much and the improvements EA boasted about before release are barely noticeable, but take nothing away from this title as it provides hours of fun with the improved Ultimate Team mode and Single Players Career Mode. A better Transfer Engine means for a more accurate simulation of the transfer window. All in all it does what you want.
Superbpaddyg | Aug. 11, 2013 | Review of Grand Theft Auto IV
Rockstar have done it again. They have created a brilliant open-world game where you are free to do as you wish. Go eat a few burgers, take your cousin bowling or even visit a strip club. A large variety of vehicles will keep you happy whilst you free roam around Liberty City (Based on New York). Why not take a tour in a helicopter? Play as Niko, a eastern European who has come to the USA to live the "American Dream" which his cousin, Roman, had promised him. Experience his struggles as he makes the big time.
24+ Hrs of Greatnesspaddyg | Aug. 6, 2013 | Review of LA Noire
This game offers in excess of 24 hours of gameplay. The narrative and storytelling in this game are second to none. Graphics are immense especially with the life-motion capture of the main characters. You will witness many Actors and Actresses that you recognise from TV in this game playing their parts. Can you tell if what they are saying is true? Thoroughly enjoyed this title. Well worth the money!
