The best batmanparazitu91 | Feb. 5, 2014 | Review of Batman Arkham City: Game of the Year
Arkham City is a solid step up from Arkham Asylum. The world isn't necessarily bigger, but it's more densely packed with trophies, side missions, and baddies. The Riddler challenges are improved, but honestly I still needed some help to understand what the goal was of some of the trophies.
The story and characters are still good, the voiceover work is great, but I was still left wondering why I should care about any of the events. I love Batman, but even he asks near the end: "What's the point of locking you up when you're just going to get out and wreak havoc again?"
It feels like by restricting everything Batman does to a prison area, we've restricted the significance of what Batman can do. It's like "Oh no! The prisoners are revolting! Get them back in prison! Oh good, they're back in prison, thanks, Batman, you just saved the world again." Maybe some of this story scope is resolved in Origins, but I didn't find it here.
Now, there are some great moments, like when Batman revisits the crime alley where his parents were murdered, or the creepy stories from Calendar Man, but they felt like exceptions to the rule.
Overall, it's a better game than Asylum for the fluidity of flight with Batman's upgrades and the new characters with which you get to command, but it still feels like something's missing.
Exceptionalparazitu91 | Jan. 25, 2014 | Review of Hitman: Contracts
Hitman Contacts is darker in mood and atmosphere compared to any other Hitman game in the franchise. The story of the game picks up immediately after the ending of codename 47 and the majority of the story are flash backs of Agent 47's missions in the past. These flash backs include some revamped missions from codename 47. So if you ever wanted to play missions from code name 47 with updated controls, AI and graphics, this game should satisfy you. Hitman Contracts has a much better AI system then Hitman 2. I found myself able to run in this game and not be shot at randomly. Note that the AI could act unfair sometimes but not as often as Hitman 2. Also the sneak/crouch is much improved. I feel that Hitman contracts has some of the best missions in the franchise. Two missions that I consider that have the most replay value in the franchise is the Meat kings part and Hunter and the Hunted. If you were to pick up any Hitman game I would recommend Contracts or Blood money. Both games have strengths and weaknesses over another. I give Hitman Contacts a 9.9/10. I am very pleased that the game has made its way to steam.
A must buy for any 90's kidparazitu91 | Dec. 24, 2013 | Review of Rise of the Triad
A bit rough around the edges, but a bresh of fresh air for us old school gamers who was wanting a game to bring back memories of the old days of Unreal Tournament, Quake, Duke 3D and Doom. The Graphics are ok, not brilliant but when you're whizzing around at the speed in game you won't really care about the graphics, the guns sound brilliant and responsive and the weapons have this larger than life feel that the tone is going for and the soundtrack is killer. The framerate can drop massively at parts, and it can be annoying. Quicksaves have been added, too. If you're looking for a solid SP game that you can spend a while in, this is the game for you. If you're looking for the next Unreal Tournament, look somewhere else. Simply great.

Grate game, bad portparazitu91 | Oct. 13, 2013 | Review of Clive Barkers Jericho
A grate supernatural horror, gore and sick game with a story made by Clive Barker.................... for god sake is CLIVE BARKER who crate Clive Barker's Undying(story line) other crazy horror movies and books. To know from the beginning the game is not horror( i was not scared even once) but is SICK with crazy and disgusting creatures, sadistic locations and good characters. In terms of fps is solid with minor bug's, but in terms of story and character is masterpiece.
