It fell short of being great.

For those that enjoyed the hybrid system of action/RPG from the ME franchise, AP adds more suspense, an espionage theme and more combat. The story is actually very good, the combat is decent and the options you pick do matter and change the objectives you get. The issue with AP is the bugs. From enemy npcs having strange pathing, to being able to be see your character even while invisible, and being spotted by npcs that should not be able to. If you don't mind those hindrances, then you will enjoy the game.

Old RPG meets new graphics

If you remember the times when you had to walk everywhere, do hundreds of quests and actually having an open and wide array of options when developing a character, then TW2 will fit your tastes. The story continues where TW1 ended. The land is a bit smaller from its predecessor as well, but the combat style remains. The environments are a bit more changing similar to the Gothic trilogy, but the map is a bit more restrictive with a an easier to follow "bread crumb". Yet it still gives more freedom than the majority of newer "hyper" graphic hybrid RPGs in the market.
