It's an incredible game. Instantly grab it if you are interested in paranormal. I've played many adventure games in my life but this one is the absolute top. It's not filled with cheap jumpscares and gory stuff you see in about a hundred games. What gives you the creeps is the eerie atmosphere, the whole station itself. You are free to "explore" the station and hotel and that's what makes it so brilliant. Dowerton station is an abandoned creepy place. You are alone, but not alone at the same time. As soon as you enter the hotel, it will come to "life", full of people although you are still alone. They are are forgotten souls from the past waiting to be freed. Through your journey you can use gadgedts which is fun. The puzzles are very challenging, but if you are stuck you can get a companion from Darkling Room website. I don't want to tell more about the game, you have to find out yourself, I don't want to spoil it. Those EVPs are still haunting me, it's a game I will never forget. "Dark Fall 2: Lights out" is a different story, but "Dark Fall 3: The lost souls" is the sequel to this story. That game is very horroristic and does justice to the characters. It's a really masterpiece in my opinion, this is art. The game engine is kinda outdated, don't expect wide screen support etc, but it's still worth every penny. It won't appeal for everyone of course, but for me it really does.
What a surprise!rammpatricia | May 15, 2014 | Review of SkyDrift
This is an extremely fun arcade racer with boost, powerups and unlockable stuff. The graphics are beautiful, the landscape is stunning, the entire game is fantastic! This game is similar to BLUR, but with airplanes. Don't worry, it's not easy at all, it's challenging even at the first few maps! This game is underrated and overlooked by any means. WORTH IT! The only flaw however: no split-screen 2 player mode.
A very cool gamerammpatricia | Oct. 16, 2013 | Review of Ion Assault
Basically this game is about collecting ions, then shooting them at asteroids or enemies. Beautiful graphics and colors, the whole game is an eye candy. The music is awesome too! It's much more better than I expected. Simple, yet VERY addictive! Buy it! It's worth it!
Unexpected!rammpatricia | Oct. 16, 2013 | Review of Luxor Evolved
Would you like to have fun? It's an incredible game! I never thought a Luxor game can be so exciting, really! Lot's of levels, power ups, the music and eye-candy hologram graphics... BEAUTIFUL. I just can't find no words. It's my new favourite game. I love it! EXTREMELY FUN! Played too much Counter-Strike? Played too much Borderlands? Try this game! Give this game a chance, at least try it! You won't regret it, that's for sure. Worth the price? Absolutely.
The nightmare continuesrammpatricia | Aug. 13, 2013 | Review of Max Payne II: The Fall of Max Payne
An excellent sequel to the first game, the adventure of Max continues. The story is twisting, turning. The tale of the lone wolf is changing, there is a woman called Mona who is dangerous in every way. She is a real gunslinger and of course, Max fell in love. The music, the voice acting, the gameplay is just as perfect as the first one. The visuals were stunning at that time, and still enjoyable today. The atmosphere is not changed, it's still dark and gloomy, but this time it's flavored with a "Noire love story". Besides, this game is moddable, there are a bunch of cool mods out there. I can't give less than the full rating, since it's just as stunning as the first one.
The GAME.rammpatricia | Aug. 12, 2013 | Review of Max Payne
I played many games in my life, but this one is the absolute best. With such a dramatic story, and amazing dark atmosphere you just can't stop playing it. The graphics were outstanding way back, still enjoyable today. The voice acting is perfect, the whole game is like a movie. There are both cut scenes and graphic novel pages. I was 11 when I first played this game, I could not sleep for 3 days because of the sad story of Max :) Now I'm 20 and I still have to play this game again and again, because it's just never enough. The sequel is just as great as this one, so pick both of them!
