Why haven't you played this yet?

Bioshock takes place in the distinguished underwater utopia of Rapture. Andrew Ryan, founder of rapture, created this fantasy land in hopes of creating an environment where science cannot be held back by the grips of morality. With that, Rapture spirals into a civil war over the immoral gene-splicing, A.D.A.M. and Plasmids.

Let me start out by saying that this game is worth every penny. It offers a unique experience, and it is definitely is not your average FPS. Bioshock will thrill you with it's environment; the graphics are amazing for it's time, and it is still up-to-par with games today. When was the last time you saw a game take place in an underwater city? But the graphics is just a bonus compared to the twitch-styled gameplay. Hack machines, use powerful combinations of Plasmids, and a variety of guns will help you find your style. If you're one of the boneheads who played Infinite before this, I would still highly recommend trying Bioshock (the plot is not linear between Bioshock and Infinite). The gameplay is almost identical, but it should be taken note that this game is very dark compared to Bioshock Infinite. If you're looking for a FPS with a great plot and a beautiful, grim-dark setting, you just found what you're looking for.
