A Fairly Decent FPS Gamerianankaa | Feb. 5, 2014 | Review of Aliens vs Predator
The best part of this game is how you can play as three different species, each with their own uniqueness. The Aliens with their speed and close combat characteristics; The Predator with a more stealhty, cautious approach; and the human as the most "tradiotional" FPS character. It might take a while to master the three species--especially how you can also employ the environment for your advantage. Unfortunately, sometimes the environment design proves to be very challenging and tedious to be utilised. The single player campaign itself can be played in a relatively short duration. Thus, anyone expecting this game to be a single player time-killer will be dissappointed. The strength is in the multiplayer aspect.
Same Old Mechanism, Little Improvement. Still Enjoyable Thoughrianankaa | Feb. 5, 2014 | Review of Batman Arkham Origins
Being the third incarnation in the Batman Arkham series, I have a lot to expect from this game. The first game in the series, Arkham Asylum was ground-breaking. The second, Arkham City was even more. Would it not be natural to expect the third one to be even better? Unfortunately, that is not the case. Perhaps we can say that this game merely copy the gameplay from the older ones and using a new "skin" to draw the characters and the surrounding environment. The rest of the gameplay is relatively the same. Being developed by a new company (WB Games), seems that they do not take risk to present new things and plainly using what has been done perfectly in the older games. Only some "new features" such as the timed events and multiplayer part. Bottom line: expect the old Arkhams with a new skin. Still enjoyable but do not expect new things!
Pretty fun tennis gamerianankaa | Aug. 9, 2013 | Review of Virtua Tennis 4
It's simply a straight-forward game with relatively simple control. I must admit however, that it is indeed one of the best tennis game for PC currently. While the arcade playing is straight to the action, the most interesting part is the career mode where you can create your custom player, "train" them to master tennis skills and techniques, and boost their career progress.... from nobody to the number one tennis player in the "game world". Granted, you will have the opportunity to face real life professional tennis player too. Buy this game if you want to have a quick, simple and fun tennis game for PC!
