Near-Perfect Gameripred43 | April 19, 2014 | Review of Far Cry 3 NA - PC
Far Cry 3 is probably the closest anyone will get to making a perfect AAA title. Everything from the graphics to the voice acting is done almost perfectly in Far Cry 3. The story is compelling and the characters are all very interesting. Jason, the character you play, does learn how to handle guns and survive in the wild rather quickly, but other than that there aren't any huge discrepancies in the story that might break your immersion. I've played the campaign twice, and I will probably play it a third time, because Far Cry 3 is one of the most entertaining games ever made.
Great Game, but Shortripred43 | April 19, 2014 | Review of Tomb Raider overflow 4 - PC
Tomb Raider is a great game, I haven't played the classic games, so I can't tell you how it compares, but it holds up well on its own. The graphics are incredible, the gameplay is well done, but if you're not a collectible hunter (which I'm not), the game is really short. I mean really short. I finished the campaign in about 8 hours. It should be noted that TressFX looks incredible, my game drops to 5 fps when I turn it on, so I didn't play with it, but it does look amazing. I plan to go back and replay the game, or at least explore the island and raid some tombs with TressFX on once I get a new video card.
Unexpectedly Entertainingripred43 | April 19, 2014 | Review of Euro Truck Simulator 2 STEAM - PC
This is one of those games that isn't fun, yet it's still entertaining. It's kind of relaxing, just driving a big truck along European highways at night, with nothing to worry about except getting to Point B. I highly recommend this game for anyone looking for a game that you don't have to be super focused and keep your reflexes sharp for, as long as you watch your speed and don't let go of the wheel, you will be fine in Euro Truck Simulator 2.
