The origin of a great strategy-game seriessanyi777 | Sept. 29, 2012 | Review of Rome: Total War Gold Edition
Rome Total War is an epic game, you must buy it! The gameplay, the nations, the fantastic real-time battles and the diplomacy makes Rome recommendable after 8 years. The graphics are a little bit old, but not so ugly. The Gold Edition includes the two expansions: Barbarian Invasion and Alexander. If you haven't played it yet, it's time to get it.
Need for Speed risessanyi777 | Sept. 25, 2012 | Review of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (EU)
Hot Pursuit is the best "new" NFS in my opinion. The graphics are great, and the races are exciting. There has got two parts: the cop and the racer. As an officer, you catch the speedsters, as a racer, you have to win the races. I recommend Hot Pursuit to people, who enjoyed Burnout Paradise.
Best FPS of 2012sanyi777 | Sept. 23, 2012 | Review of Borderlands 2 DNS
Borderlands 2 is much better than the first episode. There are a lot of new weapons, and the leveling has improved too. There are new characters, like the "Gunzerker" who massacres with two weapons. The story is even funnier, and the areas are more diversed. I reccomend the game for those who enjoyed Borderlands, or just want a great FPS experience.
Great Shootersanyi777 | Sept. 23, 2012 | Review of Bulletstorm dns
Bulletstorm is a brutal game, with good graphics, and forgettable story. The kill-counters, and the bloody executions makes the game memorable. The game-time is about 7 hours, but the time you spend with Bulletstorm is fantastic.
Origins was bettersanyi777 | Sept. 23, 2012 | Review of Dragon Age 2 (EU)
I think Dragon Age 2 is a good game, but not as good as the first was. You can only play as a human, and there is only one story-line. The combat system improved, and the characters are great too. If you want a fantastic Rpg, try Origins.
I spent hours playing with itsanyi777 | Sept. 16, 2012 | Review of Dragon Age: Origins (EU)
Dragon Age Origins is a fantasy RPG from Bioware, the creators of Mass Effect and Star Wars Kotor. The graphics, and the fights are very simple, but the story is awesome. You can create many type of characters (nobles, elves, etc.) to play with. If you enjoyed Kotor, or you just like RPG-s with fantastic story then Dragon Age is perfect for you.
More great mapssanyi777 | Sept. 16, 2012 | Review of Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand DLC (EU)
Back to Karkand provides 4 more fantastic maps from Battlefield 2. The maps has got great destruction model, and it's fun to play. You can get some new weapons, but they aren't that good. B2K is a great expansion for those who like big maps.
Better than Call of Dutysanyi777 | Sept. 15, 2012 | Review of Metro 2033 PRE
Metro 2033 is a post-apocalyptic linear FPS with great story and gorgeous graphics. The story's main character is Artyom, who is a simple guy from the metro who has to travel between the staions. The fights, the sneaking, and the saving of ammo makes a perfect athmosphere. The game is recommended if you want a good FPS.
Great for Co-opsanyi777 | Sept. 15, 2012 | Review of Borderlands
Gearbox made a great FPS with RPG elements and cell-shaded graphics. Borderlands is ok in singleplayer, but in Co-op, it's awesome. The story isn't important, but the fights and the gathering makes the game fun. If you want a good Co-op game, Borderlands will be perfect.
Call of Battlefieldsanyi777 | Sept. 15, 2012 | Review of Battlefield 3: Close Quarters (EU)
Close Quarters is a Call of Duty like expansion for Battlefield 3. It's a great dlc for you if you like team deathmach in the vanilla Battlefield. The "HD destruction" is fantastic on the maps, and the new game modes like Gun Master, and Conquest Domination makes Close Quarters highly recommended if you like CoD's gameplay.
Pure fun, nothing moresanyi777 | Aug. 6, 2012 | Review of Plants vs Zombies Game of the Year Edition
Plants vs Zombies is a game with simple graphics where your goal is, stop the zombies from eating your brain. Of course you will get some help to do that. You can use various plants to protect you such as peashooters, cherry bombs, etc. If you like fun games, which's only goal is entertain you this game would be perfect for you.
The FPS who is an RPGsanyi777 | Aug. 6, 2012 | Review of Borderlands
Borderlands is a great FPS and a good RPG with nice cell-shaded graphics and exiting gameplay. The looting makes you spend hours playing Borderlands. The story isn't bad but I didn't play this game for it. If you would like a great FPS with looting, Borderlands is your game.
It's OK, but...sanyi777 | Aug. 6, 2012 | Review of ArcaniA DNS
"ArcaniA is a Gothic game" said the developers, I don't know why. Okay, the game mechanics really like Gothic 3 but the game isn't worthy to call it Gothic. The graphics is fine and the gameplay is ok too, but the story and the combat system makes ArcaniA bad. I'm very sorry about it, it had a good start but it bacame worse and worse.
A good indie puzzle gamesanyi777 | Aug. 6, 2012 | Review of World of Goo
World of Goo is a great indie puzzle game with realistic physics and a lot of levels. The game's goal is getting from A to B with the Goo balls. They stick together and you need to use the physics and the special balls to reach the end of the levels. It's a good game so I recommend World of Goo to you.
RPG of the bestsanyi777 | Aug. 6, 2012 | Review of Mass Effect
Mass Effect is Bioware's best RPG yet in my opinion. The graphics is OK, but if you want to buy ME for the good graphics, search elsewhere. The game's real strength is the high quality story and the well-written characters. The combat is a little bit boring, but the conversations compense this. If you want a good Sci-Fi RPG buy this, Mass Effect is really cheap now.
Awesome time-consuming gamesanyi777 | Aug. 6, 2012 | Review of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (EU)
Skyrim is the best RPG yet. Why? Because of the plenty of quests the huge territory of Skyrim, and the lot of ways you can play the game. You can join the mages if you want to, but if you like fighting more you can be a Companion (Fighter's Guild) The graphics is nice and it's just enough for a game like this. The characters look pretty and the environment is fantastic. The game took 90 hours of my life and I didn't even see the full of Skyrim yet.
Great DLC for a great game!sanyi777 | Aug. 6, 2012 | Review of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Dawnguard (EU)
Dawnguard is a DLC that Skyrim fans will buy immediately, but i think 20 € is a bit expensive for that. The expansion has got two ways, the Dawnguard's and the Vampires'. The Dawnguard is a vampire hunter clan, and it has got a new main feature: the crossbow. The new ranged weapon is better than normal bows, but it's slower. The Vampire side is more exiting, because if you chose their way you will become a Vampire Lord, and this is where the fun begins. You will get new spells, such as drain life, some new illusions and summons. If you like Skyrim you won't regret buying Dawnguard, but I think you should wait until the price lowers.
Better than Asylumsanyi777 | Aug. 6, 2012 | Review of Batman: Arkham City
Batman Arkham City is the best superhero game ever maded. The game looks gorgeous, and the story is well-written, so you will enjoy it even if you don't know Batman well. The fighting is changed a little bit from Arkham Asylum, and it's a great feeling fight with the thugs of the City. The stealth parts of the game are still good. The Batman Universe's characters perform well. The storyline is long enough to entertain you, as you fight along Arkham City. There are plenty of side missions that makes the hours of playing much higher.
Goodbye Ezio!sanyi777 | Aug. 6, 2012 | Review of Assassins Creed Revelations
Assassin's Creed Revelations is a good ending for Ezio, but if we look the game closer, we will see, that Revelations is Brotherhood 2.0. The game doesn't changed. Okay, there are a few changes, but what are they? First, there is the hookblade that makes climbing easier, and adds some new combat features. Secondly, the Den Defense is an indifferent tower-defense game-type of Assassin's Creed. The thing that saves Revelations from the "same as Brotherhood" titles is the story. Ezio's adventures in Istanbul with the Sultan's family are still great. The multiplayer is a little bit different from the previous game, but this won't make the game better, so if you liked the previous AC games you will like this one too.
