The best elder scrolls game yet.sonicntales | Oct. 25, 2012 | Review of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (NA)
To start off this game isn't perfect and could be improved in ways but for the most part worth every cent. I've spent hundreds of hours just galloping across skyrim stumbling on to new caves, quests and more. The fact that you get to fight randomly occurring dragons is enough for me to buy this right off the bat. The gameplay is solid, the ui isn't great at all on pc, it's revolved around using a game-pad. Everything about this game; the lore, the adventure, the dragons and SHOUTING is all perfect and amazing the only downside is the ui and there are some mods that fix or at least make it more tolerable
This game is a winner in my book, if you don't own this game then buy it and enjoy it, you won't be disappointed.
good, but bad.sonicntales | Oct. 25, 2012 | Review of Sniper: Ghost Warrior PRE
This game looks nice and has nice environments along with a pretty solid control scheme. The sniping is ok, but there are a few kinks that were enough to make me stop playing.
one of them was the almost impossible Ai, it's able to hit me with an assault rifle all the way across the map with dead accuracy and I can't even see them with my sniper scope zoomed all the way.
another downfall is all the lush looking vegetation that looks beautiful in screenshots are completely static and don't do anything while you move through it. usually doesn't bother me, but considering you're eye level with grass a majority of the time it'd be nice.
although it has more downs than ups, it's still worth getting if it's on sale. at least to try it out, because it's always fun to be a sniper sometimes and they did that part right at least.
Everything Borderlands was and beyond.sonicntales | Oct. 19, 2012 | Review of Borderlands 2 (NA) DNS
If the original borderlands managed to eat a lot of your time like it did mine then this game is for you. it's the base borderlands formula but it improves on many downfalls of the first. Specifically online play with friends! It has improved to the point where I don't even notice i'm playing online at times. The first suffered heavy lag issues, so if that was an issue, it's not one anymore.
The only con that I can think of is the lack of variety in early game, you'll mostly come across many pistols, all being somewhat similar. It gets better mid-game, but the true variety starts after the first play-through.
This game also gave me lot's of laughs and overall it's a definite buy if you liked the first one in any way, shape or form.
