A Great Stealth Title (and a Great Port)

spearmint | May 26, 2013 | Review of Dishonored

Dishonored is a superb stealth game. It allows for a very versatile methods of approaching the situations it throws at you - the usual run-and-gun, totally non-lethal and the stealth ninja - that gamers familiar with stealth titles know and love. The story is nice, even if pretty straightforward, and it has plenty of things you can do besides the main quests - and lots of stuff to find around the place. It should be noted that the game can be pretty easy for a veteran PC gamer, as some of the abilities allow you to pretty much get out of anything. On a technical note, it's one of the best ports of it's time - the options menu always for a lot of customization and if that's not enough - you can also edit config files to to better tailor the game to your machine. All in all, a great title.
