Good game some what hidden gemtrunks10k | Dec. 26, 2015 | Review of Ninja Blade - PC
Its a decent hack and slash with over the top cutscenese which give it a good feel and not like a budget tittle. It's glory days were on the xbox 360 but on PC it's not bad with wide screen and HD resolutions this game is a good time waster and its not as dramatic or prominent as the other tittles that its mimicking but its a good game nonetheless with a good range of weapons, enemies and its a joy to play through if you can stomache the over the top silliness that is the story.
Good game but failed executiontrunks10k | Nov. 21, 2012 | Review of Earth 2160 - PC
I got this when GMG had its deal not complaining its a good game but I found it rather hard to play seeing as the controls are very robust. You would think that coming from a good lineage and around the same time as the RTS boom the controls would mimick those of the genre but they don't really. I found it really hard directing my troops. When building troops I didn't know how to set auto spawn point which made it a pain in the but cuz enemies would just attack my base while I was offing exploring and my units that were being built n those that were complete would spawn god knows where, but not anywhere near where the intruders were which made it such a pain for me going back and forth selecting - deselecting...etc... a game isn't suppose to be a chore and for that I gave this game a mediocre score.
Good game sure to be a classictrunks10k | Nov. 21, 2012 | Review of Darksiders (1) - PC
Great game. I bought this on sale for $10 and I couldn't be much more happier. There are tons of games I buy just cuz they're on sale and most of them I rarely get to play they just sit in my library. Well Darksiders is a great addition and I'm glad to say I actually enjoy ending it n I'll work on my 2nd playthrough once they get some kinks worked out in the PC version. Sure it's not the best PC port but the story and gameplay adds up. Mix it in with smart side quests and puzzle you got yourself a great game. I'm still waiting fro pt. 2 to go on sale n imma hop on that like bleach on white =P
great gametrunks10k | Nov. 1, 2012 | Review of Metro 2033 (1) - PC
Bad ass game. Good graphics and nice story. Voice acting is top notch even has Russian voices if you understand. Very dark and scary atmosphere but has some vibrant lighting effects which blend right with the mood and theme of the game. My only complaint is the weapon mechanism. It may take a bit to get use to with the recharging and what not. They should also have add in a bit more weapon choices and wouldn't hurt to give you a full HUD to display all your vitals with the gas mask being needed to be replaced. Overall a solid FPS shooter with horror theme.
