For Indie Loverstumtum87 | May 7, 2013 | Review of Super Panda Adventures [Playfire]
First off the bat, this game is pure fun. It's about crazy platforming, with a bit of puzzle solving to keep it interesting. I'm very happy, as should any old school player, that this game supports game pad support.
The artwork and aesthetics work really well for a game like this as well. My younger niece fell in love with the panda while I was playing. She picked it up and was a natural, so it's great for younger kids too.
The only real complaint would be that for older gamers it might feel a bit short when you compare it to other platformers in the past. While my niece might get over ten hours of play, I surely didn't. That didn't take away from the fun though, just wish it was a bit longer.
In short, if you're feeling like you need a quick dose of fun for a low price, this game will satisfy your urge.
For The Fanstumtum87 | May 7, 2013 | Review of Laxius Force 3
Laxius Force 3 is the third installment of this RPG. While it won't win any rewards for it's graphics, it will delight hardcore fans of the series.
The biggest thing for fans to appreciate with this sequel is the writing. The story of these characters will blow you away. The characters finally get the attention they have deserved since Laxius Force One.
The large world is still within the series as is the vast number of quests. If you're a completionist, you will get plenty of hours out of this title. The only real complaint for this title is the use of music. After several hours you may start to get annoyed by it's repetition.
In short, if you're a fan of the past two games, then you will want to see the amazing conclusion! I wouldn't recommend this game to new users. I would however; recommend them to play the first....and they'll be hooked.
A Short Successortumtum87 | May 7, 2013 | Review of SimCity (NA)
Sim City is a long standing franchise of city simulation. Sim City (2013) definitely brings back the feelings from the past games. You're still the mayor of a new start-up town with the same responsibilities of utilities, planning, education, and the list just goes on.
The most "fun" aspect of this Sim City is that you can specialize your city in areas previously not possible like Casinos or Refineries.
The main issue with this new Sim City is that while there is fun to be had, it's on a much smaller scale. You might have big ambitions for your city, but you will come to find that the map is just too small for your large ideas.
So in short, Sim City has a lot to offer, but on a much smaller scale than what it's fans have become accustomed to.
Great Valuetumtum87 | May 7, 2013 | Review of Borderlands 2 (NA) Overflow
When it comes to entertainment per hour, Borderlands 2 is one of the best. The base game alone has so many hours of high quality story missions and side quests that for the cost of this game you will be playing for cents an hour!
The characters in Borderlands 2 are fully realized as well. There really aren't any second-stringers. While a lot of great games have been released, it's been a shame that so many of them are just too short.
So in short, if you're looking for a great game, at a great price and want plenty of content then Borderlands 2 is for you!
