Amazing gamevigotski | April 18, 2014 | Review of Little Big Adventure 2
An excellent early-3D adventure game, with a warm hearted story and lots of really exciting moments! The characters are very well-written and the story is develops in a very creative way. This game will get you hooked and Twinsen will be forever in your heart!
Awesome gamevigotski | Sept. 14, 2011 | Review of Killing Floor
The best of zombie shooter games. The best of survival co-op games.
All the classes are well-balanced and are all necessary for the players to have a succesful game. You'll need a good strategy to survive. You'll need to have a good knowledge of the maps and an even better knowledge of which are the best classes for each wave and situations.
Killing Floor is much fun, although it can be very frustrating sometimes, like when you're near the last wave (or even on it) and all your team members die.
This one is a must-buy, so "grab it while you can!"
Interesting gamevigotski | Sept. 14, 2011 | Review of Sengoku DNS
All Paradox grand strategy games are very, very good. You can control almost everythig your clan do and it takes a long time for you to make the best decisions. Anyhow, when your armies are well equipped and trained they'll be unstoppable!
Sengoku is lot like Total War: Shogun 2 BUT is also has a lot of differences. The gameplay, for instance, is completely different. Maybe because of the historical period, all the units are, sort of, the same.
The challenges are difficult but you'll feel really great when you conquer and destroy your rivals! Sengoku is an very good grand strategy game, you should take a look on it!
Supremevigotski | Sept. 6, 2011 | Review of Supreme Ruler: Cold War DNS
Imagine yourself commanding a superpower during the Cold War. That's what Supreme Ruler: Cold War gives to you.
You control and decide what do to in all the different aspects your country is involved into (like weapons production, tecnology research, economy, etc.). You can also command the AI to take care of things for you, but this way you lose many interesting things the game has to offer.
The three different game modes are very enjoyable. They can take some hours to finish or even weeks! You'll find yourself thinking about what to do while you're brushing your teeth, working or doing something else.
The tactical variety is amazing, comparable to the historical accuracy. You can sabotage events that happened in real life, you can negotiate, spy enemies and much more.
The game is very complex, what may be a drawback to people who don't enjoy strategy games very much. And the graphics are kinda poor, not a little appealing.
If you enjoy a good challenge and are ready to play a thing like a Supreme Ruler, buy this game right now!
Play this gamevigotski | Sept. 6, 2011 | Review of The Sun Promotion - Rift
Rift has a very complete character creation, giving you the opportunity to have a billion different playthroughs with many different builds (and you can store up to 4 builds in each character you create!)
Graphics are fantastic, really colorful and with amazing light effects. Character animations are fluid and the landscape seems alive. The controls and mechanics are very easy to master, you learn them all very quickly.
The PvP mode is excellent. As the possibilities of character creation are, sort of, infinite, you never know what to expect from your adversaries. The surprise element is a decisive factor in those battles. And, even better, PvP gives you XP, so you don't need to kill thousands of wolves to level up.
Rift is an excellent MMORPG, you should at least give a try with the free trial.
Amazingvigotski | Sept. 6, 2011 | Review of Beat Hazard
Beat Hazard gives what it promises: the ability to play your music. The modes are very interesting, although there aren't many of them. They are all very challenging, you'll need practice to finish those ultra-rapid songs you want to! The graphics are good, but take care, they're also a free epilepsy test. You can set the % of effects (I usually go with 50%, I don't wanna have a fit). This is a must buy, so do it right now!
Good gamevigotski | Sept. 5, 2011 | Review of Empire: Total War
Empire is not the best in the series; neither the worst. It fails in some points, but is really fortunate in other, like the sea battles. The historical period is very interesting, with so many different stuff happening at the same time. You should buy this one, the battles are very fun to play and the generals are very charismatic. The campaign is formidable, to conquer the entire world, even in videogames, is always very nice!
Absolutely Perfectvigotski | Sept. 5, 2011 | Review of Deus Ex: Human Revolution Augmented Edition
This game is absolutely perfect. But what does it have that makes it so good? The answer is "choice". You can play it anyway you want. Wanna be a ninja? Check. A hacker? Check. Rambo cover? Check. And it's not simply a "character build", you feel compensated for any choice you take.
The story is very deep and involving, full of mysteries and conspiracies. You are always wanting to know what happens next, making you play the game like a maniac!
Weapon customization. Aahh... amazing. See that revolver at the beginning of the game? By the end it can be so lethal take even the Terminator would avoid a gunfight with you.
The graphics are very polished and well made. They contribute a lot with the cyberpunk feel of the game. The music score is heavenly, you'll never forget it after so many hours play this piece of art. Buy Deus Ex: Human Revolution RIGHT NOW!
The augmented edition items are very interesting, they help you get in the mood for the game.
Perfectvigotski | Sept. 5, 2011 | Review of Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition DNS
Beware, this game will make you keep on playing forever! Deus Ex captivates you by mixing action, rpg and strategy like no other game. The story is really well written, you'll feel really involved in everything and your actions will be influenced by all that's happening in Deus Ex's world. You can choose lots of weapons, each one with unique qualities and functions. The AI is good, the enemies aren't all dumb like many other games we see around.
It's a masterpiece, and you have to be smart to finish this game. The graphics are obsolete, of course, but you can easily find many graphic and texture overhauls that make Deus Ex look much better
F.E.A.R. 3: Call of Duty?vigotski | Sept. 5, 2011 | Review of F.E.A.R. 3
What's happening? Why are all the FPS games are getting even more like CoD nowadays? This game is really mediocre and average is all senses. The story is much less interesting than on the other two games of the series, the campaign is ridiculously short, very linear and with incredibly boring parts, some very hard and some very, very easy. The graphics, meh, aren't even worth mentioning. Stay away from this one, buy F.E.A.R. 1 & 2, much better games and a much better spent money.
Amazing gamevigotski | Sept. 5, 2011 | Review of Mount & Blade: Warband DNS
Grand strategy games are very difficult to be good. This is one of the good games! The huge battles are incredible, they really have the feeling that movies like Braveheart transpass. The open world is very interesting to explore and the different factions offer a great number of challenges and multiple playthroughs. And, last but not least, an absurd number of MODS! Yes, the modding community is very active and there's always excellent and very interesting new mods to play. Buy Mount & Blade: Warband now!
Excellent dlcvigotski | Aug. 11, 2011 | Review of Total War: Shogun 2 - Sengoku Jidai Unit Pack
This is what all dlc should be: full of good and new content. The units make a huge difference in the game, making the clans more distinguishable from each other and the strategy employed changes significantly. Buy this right now, or else fail as the daimyo of a mighty clan!
Good dlc, but could be bettervigotski | Aug. 11, 2011 | Review of Total War: Shogun 2 - Ikko Ikki Clan DLC
The new clan is a nice add-on for the game, gives you a whole new challenge and makes you have a better gaming experience. But the price is a bit steep for the amount of new content. If you really enjoy Shogun 2 and/or are a history maniac, you should take a look. Otherwise, skip it. For 5 bucks you can get full games that will be really worth of your time.
Excellentvigotski | Aug. 9, 2011 | Review of Medieval II: Total War Gold Edition
One of the best on the series and surely one of the best strategy games out there. The expansion really deserves that name, since it expands many aspects with excellent new campaigns and units. It's a totally must have you like knights in shining armor fighting against hordes of merciless, evil enemies! And the community made lots of mods, which is always very good, and many of those mods really revive and reinvigorate the game after you did pretty much everything. Buy this now!
Perfectvigotski | Aug. 6, 2011 | Review of Total War: Shogun 2
Fun. Addictive. Perfect. It has the best gameplay ever in the series, the historical period is very interesting and the graphics are very good. You'll find yourself playing it like a maniac, even dreaming with the battles and strategies of the game. This game is a must have!
Awesome gamevigotski | July 2, 2011 | Review of Crazy Taxi DNS
The concept is incredible. Driving like a madman that cab is absolute fun! The songs complete the mood and they will help you to feel like doing, as the title says, Crazy Taxi! It's a must-have for everyone!
Time wastervigotski | June 29, 2011 | Review of Imperium Romanum: Gold Edition DNS
Not very good, but if you want to learn a bit of ancient story and spend some time this game is okay. It's cheap and has a good gameplay, easy to learn with a good tutorial but there are many other titles in the market that are better than Imperium Romanum
Very mediocrevigotski | June 29, 2011 | Review of Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days
This game is better than the first Kane and Lynch. Anyway, it's still under developed and the story really doesn't seem credible. It's not fun to play it, it has a very short campaign and it will frustrate you. At least the price is not that high, but you will find much more interesting games costing the same or less.
THE Managing Simulatorvigotski | June 29, 2011 | Review of Football Manager 2011
Football Manager legacy is really old. It began in 1992 with the first Championship Manager and Sports Interactive (the game's developer) gradually improved the game, each one better than the other. Now we have FM 2011, undoubtedly the best sports simulation game around. The gameplay is excellent, you really feel as a manager, commanding your squad, planning for the season, discussing contracts and transfers and winning competitions. The drawbacks are the repetitive interviews and the somewhat simple interaction with your players. One very good thing is that the game has a great modding community, so rosters can be uptaded easily and new competitions can be created. This game is essencial to all the football fans around the globe!
Worth Pricevigotski | June 29, 2011 | Review of Magicka: Wizard's Survival Kit DLC
A really cheap dlc for a really cheap (and great) game. It gives you another option of customizing your character and two new items. The new Magick, Meteor Shower is useful against some enemies and sometimes this helps a lot. This is not a must-have, but it costs only one dollar, so, why not buy it?
