This is NOT a Medal of Honor Gamexyz25 | Jan. 26, 2014 | Review of Medal of Honor: Warfighter (NA)
Medal of Honor has always been about the story. From Frontline all the way up until Medal of Honor (2010) the stories were well laid out and in the case of the previous instalment (2010) you connected with the characters and were immersed in the great dialogue that was expected with a MoH game. This MoH is not the case. Developer Danger Close chose to amp up the multiplayer and leave the story to the side, destroying a franchise that had a long list of success. The single player is all over the place, and you breach a door every 5 seconds, it comes to the point where you can even unlock special breaching devices to mix it up every now and then, it's just plain silly. And the multiplayer which was clearly the focus of the game, is downright confusing. The attempt to use various military specialists from different countries ends up with a convoluted unlock system, and the maps and gameplay leave you dead every other second, because there is absolutely nowhere to hide. I wanted this game to be so much more, I wanted a sequel to MoH (2010) but instead this game ended up being a tech demo for the latest frostbite engine. 50/100
Disappointing, You'll be wanting morexyz25 | Jan. 26, 2014 | Review of Call of Duty: Ghosts NS
Call of Duty: Ghosts was supposed to be the start of a new era. Infinity ward promised a new engine, dedicated servers, balanced gameplay, and much...much more. Like every year for the past 5 years I was sucked into this charade, and spent 60 dollars on this.
The game looks ugly sadly, even though it looks "better" than previous call of duties. Really the only major difference in graphics is a few lighting effects here or there, which don't make up for the fact that the textures are ALL very jagged and simple. The lack of an in game FOV changer is a big warning sign that Infinity Ward did not put that much time into their pc port, the game is STILL buggy to this day on PC, even after massive patch overhauls, and the fanbase has dwindled since release. If you are looking for a good time waster, then maybe MAYBE pick this game up on sale, but if you are looking for a groundbreaking CAll of Duty, you will be extremely disappointed 62/100
The Best of the Best in Open Worldxyz25 | Jan. 26, 2014 | Review of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Nexway
You won't be able to find a game that has more to see, more to do than Skyrim. With hundreds of elaborate quests, The Eldor Scrolls V: Skyrim is the top notch fantasy RPG currently out. I have spent many hours running around in this beautiful world, and I plan on many more to come.
The game itself is magnificent, with only the smallest minor bugs and glitches that can be easily surpassed and sometimes are quite comical. There is an extremely large modding community to bring even more gameplay into the project after you have done everything there is to do (which will take you days worth of playing time anyway.) The games visuals hold up to the best current gen, especially if you install many of the graphical mods out there. I don't know if Ive ever seen a game so rich in background, and so fun all at the same time.
