Alrightysk1985 | Sept. 8, 2013 | Review of Duke Nukem Forever Pack
The game is alright, feels like a generic shooter with boobs, fun for the weekend. The DLC is even better and feels like what a duke game should be.
Greatysk1985 | Sept. 8, 2013 | Review of Double Fine Bundle
All the games in this pack are great, psychonauts is the best. Stacking is pretty great, costume quest is pretty cute. Brutal Legend is fun if you like metal music.
Okysk1985 | Sept. 8, 2013 | Review of Sanctum Pack
Sanctum 1 was pretty special and unique FPS tower defense, it was pretty balanced. Sanctum 2 is more of an FPS game and the DLC are pretty average. Super Sanctum is average and forgettable.
Awesomeysk1985 | Sept. 8, 2013 | Review of Deus Ex Pack
All the games in this pack is awesome except invisible war, the choices don't matter in that and the game was a buggy mess. The other games deus ex and human revolution are great though.
Awesomeysk1985 | Sept. 3, 2013 | Review of Gun Monkeys
This game is great, support the devs, they even have this game mechanic where if no one joins you in the lobby, they give out keys for you to bring more people into the game. The game is fun and fresh and the graphics aren't bad.
Differentysk1985 | Aug. 17, 2013 | Review of Roccat Alumic Double-Sided Gaming Mousepad
This mouse pad is one of the most unique mouse pads I have used. It has different sides which you can use for different games. One side is good for FPS games as you can move the mouse freely around. The other side is good for MMO games that requires grip and traction for the most actions. The gel wrist rest is good and you hand feels comfortable resting on it for hours.
Brilliantysk1985 | Aug. 16, 2013 | Review of The Walking Dead: A Telltale Game Series
This game is beautiful, it left me crying by the end of the series. The characters are loveable and you can sympathize with all of them. The graphics aren't that great but the story, voice acting and the way the emotions of the characters are presented more than makes up for it. You can choose how you want to play whether you play a good guy or a bad guy, it is up to you to play how you want. Even if you don't like the zombie genre, I implore you try this game as you will not regret it. If you are a fan of the walking dead series, definitely pick this up as it doesn't conflict with it.
Greatysk1985 | Aug. 16, 2013 | Review of NHL 13
This game is the best hockey game there is. If you love ice hockey this is the game for you. My favourite moment is when they unexpectedly broke out into a fight, which I was not expecting would happen in a game. The gameplay is fun and you can watch the replays of the match, making it feel like a real hockey game. The graphics are really nice and the physics are done very well. The team names are there so it's sort of like you are rooting and playing as your favorite team. The multiplayer section is fun when you are playing with a friend too.
Greatysk1985 | Aug. 14, 2013 | Review of XCOM: Enemy Unknown
This is a great strategy game. Is a turn based so you can play at your own pace. This game depends on skill with a bit of luck mixed in. If you are lucky, your shots work and you kill the enemy, if you aren't you get killed by the enemy. This game plays like a giant board game. The single player starts off easy and gets harder. The multiplayer is fun as you try outwit your opponent. The graphics in this game is nice. If you've played any of the previous xcom games, you will like this.
Funysk1985 | Aug. 14, 2013 | Review of Fighters Uncaged
This game is fun and very unique, a fighting game using the kinect. I couldn't pull off the moves properly, but somehow, my friend was able to. I did have fun punching and kicking the air randomly and getting some hits off, but my friend was more a natural and it was amusing watching him beat up the AI. the graphics are nothing too spectacular but the gameplay makes up for this.
Okayysk1985 | Aug. 14, 2013 | Review of Sniper Ghost Warrior
This isn't the best sniper game in the series. The graphics are alright but it feels repetitive, especially since you are in the jungle, and all you see are trees. Your gun doesn't feel that great because your shots get blocked by random branches that you feel it should've hit the target. The AI that is with you isn't the smartest but they work. This is a game to get when it has a high discount.
Alrightysk1985 | Aug. 14, 2013 | Review of Sniper Elite V2
This game is pretty fun. The graphics are pretty and the environment is rich. This isn't your average shooter and the gameplay is pretty unique. Instead of shooting as much and as fast as you can, you play as a sniper and it requires quite a lot of patience. Pick this up if you want something different, this is a nice change in pace from all the other shooters. The AI and controls do feel a bit clunky at times, but the rest of the game is more than enough to make up for it.
Awesomeysk1985 | Aug. 14, 2013 | Review of LittleBigPlanet 2 Extras Edition
This game is great if you enjoyed littlebigplanet. The game retains the charm of the first game and adds extras - like the title implies. The graphics are greatly improved and the game looks futuristic in space. The story is nice as it continues on from the previous game, although you don't need to have played that to understand this one. This game is fun for the whole family and can be picked up easily.
Awesomeysk1985 | Aug. 14, 2013 | Review of God of War: Ascension Collector's Edition
This is a game you shouldn't miss if you are a fan of the God of War series. The graphics are great, the story is nice and the world is large and enriching. The gameplay is fun. The bonuses that come with the collectors edition is nice too. The soundtrack is beautiful and serene. The figurine that comes with it is very detailed and heavy. The new multiplayer mode isn't that great and feels tacked on, but the single player is something you shouldn't miss.
Greatysk1985 | Aug. 14, 2013 | Review of Dragons Dogma
This game is awesome, The graphics is nice, the story is touching, and you really feel you can bond with the characters of the story. The gameplay gets a bit of getting use to and you may die a few times in the beginning, but once you play for a bit, everything will flow better. This is a game you shouldn't miss if you are a fan of adventure games.
Awesomeysk1985 | Aug. 14, 2013 | Review of Turtle Beach PX21
This headset is great, it really is an all in one headset where you can use on your computer, xbox 360 and PS3. It will last you for ages. Its sound quality is great for games and movies and you can have a different setting for when you are talking on skype or not gaming. The mic is good and the other party can hear you clearly. The sound doesn't leak so you can ensure privacy. It does feel a bit heavy after many hours of use but it's fine if you take a break every 3 hours.
Great!ysk1985 | Aug. 11, 2013 | Review of Skate 3
The second game disappointed me but this game took its flaws and fixed them. I am not disappointed. The graphics are simply stunning, the levels load flawlessly and quickly, and the AI is fair. When you beat them you feel like you've earned it and when you lose, you'll want to try to beat them again. There are many different tricks you can do and you'll spend hours playing this game. It is not needed to have previously played the other Skate games to play and enjoy this game.
Funysk1985 | Aug. 11, 2013 | Review of SSX
This game is fun if you're picking up an SSX game for the first time, but if you are a veteran of the other skate games you may be a bit disappointed by this game. The graphics may have improved greatly but the courses feel a bit repetitive and levelling up feels like you are grinding. The sound track isn't as catchy as the soundtracks in the other SSX games. Some of the AI feels very cheap and I was forced to decrease its difficulty to beat them.
Niceysk1985 | Aug. 11, 2013 | Review of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13
This is a nice relaxing game, but only if you like golf. If you don't like golf I wouldn't buy this game at all, as you would find it repetitive and slow. If you do like golf, I would get this game as soon as possible. The courses are beautiful and the gameplay is solid. This game is extra fun if you have a kinect, as you swing your hands and golf for real, without having to walk all over the course looking for the ball. But even with a controller, the controls are implemented very well and you can lie on your couch and relax with this game.
Goodysk1985 | Aug. 11, 2013 | Review of FIFA 12
This game is really good if you don't mind slightly outdated teams. The gameplay is fun if you like soccer and the rules are done very well. If you have played any of the other FIFA games you will like this one, as the gameplay is similar and feels more refined. If you want a cheaper FIFA game over a more current game such as FIFA 13, this game is fun and you can still play a game of soccer with your friends.
Alrightysk1985 | Aug. 11, 2013 | Review of Dead Space 3
The transition to the first game to the second game was that there was more action and less scary atmosphere. This happens again from the transition from Dead Space 2 and this game. This game feels even less scarier than before and now there is more action. Now you are killing humans as well monsters as well, taking away the sense of isolation in the game. The graphics have improved over the second game and the story is interesting enough to keep you playing.
Niceysk1985 | Aug. 9, 2013 | Review of Heavy Rain
This is more of an interactive story than a game. The choices you make advance the story differently, depending on how you decide to do things. There are many different endings which makes this good to replay. The graphics are good enough to keep you immersed in the story. The gameplay isn't much but this is meant to be looked at as a who dunnit sort of story, as you uncover more clues, you are closer to solving the mystery. What I didn't like was that there were a bit too much quick time events, other than that, this is an amazing game.
Greatysk1985 | Aug. 9, 2013 | Review of Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City
This is a great add on to the original game. It feels more like a complete game rather than separate DLCs, two full games in fact. This game will scratch your urges if you've done everything in GTA 4 and you still want more, as you can get roughly 30 hours out of this game if you try do and collect everything.
Great gameysk1985 | Aug. 9, 2013 | Review of Grand Theft Auto IV
This is a very large game and one of the best open world games there are to own. If you can't get the pc version, this version is fine too as it runs really well and you don't have to tweak the settings, although the visuals look worse. The story is amazing and you choose when you want to advance it, The map is HUGE and you can spend hours just driving around the city taking it in. There are many side missions to do during the game and even after you've finished it. Definitely one of the best GTA games right after vice city.
Goodysk1985 | Aug. 8, 2013 | Review of Dungeon Siege 3
This is good but not as good as the first 2. It is made slightly easier but the gameplay is still fun. The graphics is greatly improved and is very good. The gameplay is fun and the story is great. This game is made by the same people who made fallout new vegas, so if you liked that game you should check out this game. If you have friends to play with, this game becomes much more enjoyable and the dynamic environment grants re playability.
Awesomeysk1985 | Aug. 8, 2013 | Review of F1 2012 DNS
This game is great, done by developers who make really good racing games. This one is done by the same people who made Dirt and Grid. The graphics are amazing and it feels like you really are on an F1 racing track. The physics is good and it's amazing when you crash, it's so realistic. The sound effects of the engine as you control your car is impressive. This is a good game whether you know about F1 racing or you are new to the genre as you will pick up the rules soon enough (it's not hard).
Awesomeysk1985 | Aug. 8, 2013 | Review of Transformers: Fall of Cybertron
This game is amazing, it is much better than the first one, even though that was good. It feels like they took all the complaints and improved upon them. If you are a fan of the transformers series, you will absolutely fall in love with this game and if you are new to Transformers, you can still enjoy this game without having played the first one although it is recommended. The graphics are amazing and detailed, you can see the parts move when they transform if you look closely enough. This game is more fun played with friends than alone.
Okayysk1985 | Aug. 8, 2013 | Review of Syndicate
This game has great graphics and visuals but that would be the high point of the game. The story is average and the gameplay is too repetitive. The co op is better than when you play single player. The controls feel a bit too clunky with a keyboard and mouse, and it feels like you are expected to play with a controller. All you do is run through a map, kill everything, rinse and repeat.
Greatysk1985 | Aug. 8, 2013 | Review of Assassin's Creed
This game is a great start to the Assassin's Creed series. It was fun but a bit repetitive but the concept and gameplay was pretty new. The story is good but you will need to buy the later games (Assassin's Creed 2, Assassin's Creed brotherhood and Assassin's Creed Revelations) to finish off the story. The graphics still looks great. The combat is alright as you have stealth kills and the gameplay is good as you jump across building to building.
Funnyysk1985 | Aug. 8, 2013 | Review of Bully: Scholarship Edition
This game is funny, it's like a tame version of GTA but you are in high school playing as a bully, instead of playing as a killer going on hit mission and errand runs, you are bully around the school. This is one RockStar game to add to your collection. The graphics are pretty good for an old game, around the same as San Andreas but in a school environment. You get to do funny things such as hide inside garbage cans to escape from being told off.
It's Okysk1985 | Aug. 8, 2013 | Review of BioShock Infinite: Clash in the Clouds
This DLC is alright, nothing too special, you get four different types of arena type games which is great if you love that type of thing. The file size is around 5GB if that is a problem for some people. You get to have more combat on the skylines which is what some people wanted, which is great the developers listened. You can get this in the season pass or wait until it goes on sale, up to you.
Okysk1985 | Aug. 8, 2013 | Review of Painkiller Hell & Damnation
The pain killer games can be a hit or a miss, this one is somewhere in between. The graphics have improved over the other painkiller games, gameplay feels repetitive. The story is alright and it follows the original series, so if you were into those, you'll love this, if not then the story will be boring for you. The coop is great though, it will make the game much more enjoyable, as you both share the story together. The environment is dark and you have a real sense of survival.
Greatysk1985 | Aug. 8, 2013 | Review of Remember Me
This game is good, but it has some short comings. The setting is in a futuristic neo Paris, but it doesn't feel like you are in Paris at all. You have one iconic building the Eiffel Tower in the background but that's it. The rest of the time you are either in narrow rooms and corridors or the camera is very zoomed in. The combo builder is fun at first, but you will find yourself using the same combo over and over (most likely the ones that reduce your special abilities cool downs). The story is alright, but they could've taken it in a different direction such as the morality and consequences of changing memories. Overall, this is a missed opportunity in my opinion.
Really f unysk1985 | Aug. 8, 2013 | Review of Resident Evil 6
This game is really fun if you have someone else to play with. Single player is alright but the AI isn't that smart and doesn't help you much. The graphics is really nice and the whole game is action packed. I think people don't like the amount of cutscenes this game has but that is part of the charm of this game. The story pans across three characters, all coming together in some point of the game. The environment is very dark and moody, very fitting for a resident evil game, although I wish they bought back the creepiness of first 3 games.
Greatysk1985 | Aug. 8, 2013 | Review of Midnight Mysteries: The Edgar Allan Poe Conspiracy
This is a good one from the developer Avanquest who makes great hidden object games. This combines the hidden object genre and the mystery novel genre, as you find hidden objects and then combine the clues to try solve the puzzle. Midnight Mysteries: The Edgar Allan Poe Conspiracy is a game which needs you to be more alert than the other hidden object games, as not only is finding the hidden objects tough, some of the puzzles are very tricky too. You'll feel like a real Sherlock Holmes when you do manage to solve the puzzle.
Awesomeysk1985 | Aug. 8, 2013 | Review of Samantha Swift & the Hidden Roses of Athena
This developer Avanquest is very good at making hidden object games, each one they make feels unique and Samantha Swift & the Hidden Roses of Athena is no exception to this of course. This time, the drawings look cartoony as opposed to the realistic environments of their other hidden object games, which is a nice change in the atmosphere. If you have played and enjoyed any of their other hidden object games, you are most likely to enjoy this one as well, the story is humorous.
Greatysk1985 | Aug. 8, 2013 | Review of Ancient Secrets: Quest for the Golden Key
This game is another great hidden object games, one of the first I have tried and instantly fell enough with. Very different from the other hidden puzzle games, this one is on a beautiful tropical island and the pictures are nicely drawn, The hidden objects are pretty hard to find but they are in such obvious locations that you will smack your head every time you find one and wonder why you haven't found it sooner.
Awesomeysk1985 | Aug. 7, 2013 | Review of DiRT 3: Complete Edition
This is the best DIRT game there is. It beats DIRT 2 because it improves upon the graphics and the gameplay feels slightly more refined than the second one. The maps are new and refreshing and and none of them feel the same as the maps in DIRT 2. You race in new countries than the second game so you can get both and still enjoy them.
Greatysk1985 | Aug. 7, 2013 | Review of Ski World Simulator 2012
If you like tycoon games such as zoo tycoon, roller coaster tycoon, and lemonade tycoon, you will love this game. The aim of the game is the make money, like the tycoon game. You are a ski manager of a resort, and it's up to you to build a fun and safe resort and earn a lot of money. The graphics in this game is nice, you really feel like you are in a snowy resort on a mountain. You build stuff with tractor and snow plow. Driving the equipment requires precision and is no easy feat. This game can be nice and relaxing or it can put you on edge as you actually start losing money.
Goodysk1985 | Aug. 7, 2013 | Review of Sleeping Dogs
This is a good open world game. The graphics are really well done and it really feels like you are strolling though Hong Kong. What breaks immersion is that the characters randomly speak some chinese words in a middle of a sentence sometimes, and it feels like they do just just to remind you are in Hong Kong which can get annoying. They do not sub title the people talking on the streets so you have no idea what they are saying if you don't understand Chinese. The story is great and you'll get a good 10-15 hours of fun out of it. Afterwards, if you want a platinum trophy, it can get a bit grindy collecting all the collectables.
Alrightysk1985 | Aug. 7, 2013 | Review of DiRT Showdown
After the high standards of Dirt 2 and 3, you would expect the same from this but sadly this isn't the case. This feels like a spin off outsourced to another company to make the game. The game feels clunky compared to Dirt 3 and it feels like luck whether you can control your car or not, unlike the way it takes skill in Dirt 3. There are a few new modes in this game like a demolition derby like game, but the controls ruined the experience. The graphics are pretty good though.
Brilliant.ysk1985 | Aug. 7, 2013 | Review of Zone of the Enders HD Collection
If you liked the original zone of enders, GET THIS, if you love Japanese games with anime characters, GET THIS! Both the zone of enders games are beautifully remastered with better textures in HD and the audio is better. You fight as awesome gundam suit like armor and the action is so fast paced and realistic futuristic robotic way. The voice acting is great and the expressions of the characters when something exciting happens makes this feel real.
Greatysk1985 | Aug. 7, 2013 | Review of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
This game is good but as fan of the original game on PC, this PS3 version feels a little lack luster. The graphics are slightly worse than the PC version on highest, but it looks amazing. Many people were slightly disappointed at the gameplay as it doesn't live up to its predecessor Morrowind, but the story is still great and you will get hundreds of hours of gameplay in this game like all the Elder scrolls series. Get this if you are waiting for a price drop on Skyrim, or if you are interested in the Elder Scrolls lore. I highly recommend this game.
Funysk1985 | Aug. 7, 2013 | Review of Halo Wars
This wasn't as fun as the original Halo Series which was developed by BUNGIE studios. This game is fun but it really feels like they are milking the fans of the series. The graphics don't feel as nice as HALO 3, but it is still good. It feels like a war marines clone, but with Halo suits and weapons, but the gameplay doesn't feel as good. There is no one playing multiplayer anymore and the campaign has little replayablility but it was fun the first time around. I would give this a go if you can get it at a discount or if you need to own every Halo game in your collection.
Funysk1985 | Aug. 7, 2013 | Review of Shift 2: Unleashed
I think many people dislike this game because it went the realistic racing route like GRID and not the traditional arcade game feel to the Need For Speed series. The cars are harder to control and they need precision, that's why it may feel clunky to people but that's how the game is designed. The rules are strict and you are punished if you go off track. Your car gets damaged and becomes even harder to drive. But if you give this game a chance, you'll find it's really realistic and the graphics are nice. This isn't as good as GRID, but you should add it to you collection if you are a fan of the Need For Speed series and you want something different.
Awesomeysk1985 | Aug. 7, 2013 | Review of Hidden Mysteries Forbidden City
I am a fan of hidden object games ever since I was given my first where's Waldo book as a kid. This game sure takes me back to those games where you look for something or someone inside a cluster of objects. I was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled across this gem. The graphics are great and the music is nice and relaxing. It has a somewhat realistic feel, like you are looking at beautiful paintings, this is a nice break from all those action shooter games and fun for the family.
A nice little gameysk1985 | Aug. 6, 2013 | Review of The Mystery of the Crystal Portal
This is a nice little unknown game that isn't popular. If you like where's Waldo book, you will love this game. That's what makes this game fun to play. The bad thing about this game is that you spend most of the time looking for something that you don't know what you are supposed to look for, so you spend most of the time clicking randomly, but when you do find the item, you will feel accomplished. Once you find a key object, it will tell you what you are supposed to look for. The graphics are nice hand drawn art scenery and is pretty. This game can get frustrating at times as they show you items that aren't available yet. Overall all this a nice time waster and can be picked up every now and then.
Goodysk1985 | Aug. 6, 2013 | Review of Beatbuddy: Tale of the Guardians
This game is great, it's what I was expecting from Rush Bros (which was not what I expected). This game is a true music platformer game. The music is definitely the best part of this game and all the obstacles feel they are in like with the beat of the music. The keyboard controls are bad but if you have a controller, this is no problem. The story is simple and almost non existent but the gameplay and music is much more than enough to entertain you. The scenery is beautiful but some of the obstacles can get annoying sometimes. This game is great for casual platformer gamers, like trine.
Goodysk1985 | Aug. 6, 2013 | Review of Sonic and Sega All Star Racing Classic
This game is fun if you love Mario Kart and Sega. This game is a SEGA version of Nintendo's Mario Kart, you race though gorgeous levels from SEGA games as SEGA characters. The graphics are really good and each race track feels different. The AI can be a real pain to beat and they are no pushovers, which is a good thing. They give you a few difficulty levels in each track so if you are too frustrated with the harder difficulties, you can practice on the easier levels. Sadly the multiplayer online is dead but if you have a couple of friends over, you can still play with them locally.
Greatysk1985 | Aug. 6, 2013 | Review of Starcraft II: Wings Of Liberty
This game is fun, but when you buy this, buy the expansion Heart of the Swarm as well. The single player campaign in this game is great as the story telling is amazing. The cut scenes could make a movie! The challenges are tough, but not too tough that you can't youtube the solution. The campaign has different difficulty settings and there are BattleNet achievements if you are into achievements. As I mentioned before, get the Heart of the Swarm expansion as well, as you will need it for the multiplayer, where everyone plays now. There are custom arcade games as well which will last you many hours of fun, where you can still play online with out the expansion.
Okysk1985 | Aug. 6, 2013 | Review of Medal of Honor
If you loved the original game released ages ago you probably will be disappointed in this game. The single player campaign is simplified and made easier and the story is less coherent, it's not bad, but just not as good as the original was. The graphics are good, as expected of a remake. The multiplayer would be fun, but is ruined by everyone hiding and just sniping you from the distance, makes the classes not being fully utilized. There isn't much people playing online anymore as this is an old game.
Awesomeysk1985 | Aug. 6, 2013 | Review of Far Cry 3
This game is really amazing. They took the bests parts of the second game, Far Cry 2, made them better, and left out all the bad parts. The story is great as you are on a rescue mission for your friends. The island is beautiful! The graphics range from a dark jungle, to wide open areas and inside damp caves. The gameplay is fun and the mechanics they teach you in the tutorial is used throughout the game and not forgotten. The skill system works and it lets you play the way you want.
Awesomeysk1985 | Aug. 6, 2013 | Review of Fallout 3
This is the best fallout game in the series, beating New Vegas. A game made by Bethesda, the people who bought you the most epic game of all time Skyrim. The atmosphere is amazing as you play in the sewers, the atmosphere is dark and the quests and story line is satisfying. The graphics hold up to today. If you are a fan of RPG games, this is one to add to your collection.
So goodysk1985 | Aug. 6, 2013 | Review of Doom 3: BFG Edition
This game is good for consoles. It is basically the entire doom collection all in one package. The game has been fixed to include new features such as having your flashlight out as the same time as your gun, and the graphics have been improved over doom 3. The atmosphere remains as dark and creepy and the action is nice.
Niceysk1985 | Aug. 5, 2013 | Review of Metro Last Light Limited Edition
This game isn't as tough as the first one, which is good, as it gives you more time to explore the beautiful world without worrying about dying. The graphics are really amazing and the combat feels better, as you feel like a real pro sneaking though the game. There is also the route of killing enemies, but that is harder and less realistic, as there are heaps of enemies in a room at once and they are all alerted.
The bonus ranger mode from this is great too, some people dislike the lack of an HUD, but that is the point of this Ranger mode, it really helps with immersion as you have to check everything manually and keep track of your bullets.
The story is great but it continues from the normal ending from the first game, even if you got the "enlightened ending".
Awesomeysk1985 | Aug. 5, 2013 | Review of Saints Row
This game is nothing like Saints Row 3. The story is very serious and so is the game play, This is the game that started it all. The graphics feel a bit dated, but that doesn't stop the game from being extremely fun. Find out how the Saints become the top gangsters of the world. This game is open world and provides hours of fun, you will like this if you liked the GTA series. The characters are really developed and have depth, the voice actors really did a great job here.
Alrightysk1985 | Aug. 5, 2013 | Review of Prototype 2
The game play in this game is fun and the story is alright, but I feel really let down as you play a different protagonist from the first game. I had sympathy for the protagonist in the first game, and I didn't like the direction they took him, but I quickly sympathized with this games main character. The game play feels similar to the first game but it's still fun as the map is huge.
So funysk1985 | Aug. 5, 2013 | Review of The Darkness II
This game does so much right. It feels like a combination of neo noir and fantasy. The narrator has such a sexy voice while he narrates the game, almost like he's reading a comic book! which is what the developers intended. You can play this game without having played the first one, as there is a summary in the beginning of the game, but I found it much more enjoyable having gone though the story of the character in the first game.
The game is greatly enjoyable as you have a combination of powers and guns, which you can buy and improve more on as you progress through the game.
The co op is fun when you have four people, each playing as a different character, as you each use your powers together, and is an entirely different story from the single player campaign, so get your friends!
Funysk1985 | Aug. 5, 2013 | Review of Rage
Back when this game first came out, there were a lot of problems for it you may have heard about on the PC. Glad to say this has been fixed now and the game runs really well, even on AMD cards (without having to tweak the settings in catalyst 13.4). The gameplay is fun but it can get repetitive, It mostly feels like a fetching game and a racing game, with a bit of shooting. I suggest you start on hard/ ultra hardcore as the gun play is pretty easy if you are using a mouse and keyboard. the graphics are nice, it feels like a realistic borderlands game.
awesome!ysk1985 | Aug. 5, 2013 | Review of Dead Space
This game is great. You are sent on a ship to discover what happened to the previous crew. The story is great and the atmosphere is suspenseful the moment you arrive on the ship. The graphics are great and the over-the-shoulder camera angle is a fresh idea for a shooter (mass effect did it I know, but that was more of a cover shooter and this is more of an fps). The hud and your suit makes the game feel futuristic, the aliens aren't a push over and they jump out at you when you least suspect it.
Alrightysk1985 | Aug. 5, 2013 | Review of Dead Space 2
This is a great game but it doesn't beat the first game in my books. The first game was more scary as you didn't know what to expect and the aliens just jumped out as you from nowhere. This game is different and I think the developers know that, as it feels more action oriented than the first one. Not to say that is bad, as it retains the atmosphere from the first game, and the graphics are refined. The story isn't bad too but as I have stated, it's not as mysterious as the first game. Pick this up if you really enjoyed the first, as you will like this too.
OKysk1985 | Aug. 5, 2013 | Review of Call of Duty: Black Ops
This game is alright, there were heaps of people to play with when it first came out, but now everyone has moved onto black ops 2 and there isn't as much people as there use to be. This is a nice competitor for Battlefield 3, but I like battlefield 3 slightly better. The graphics is great but it feels the same as the previous Call of Duty game: Modern Warfare 2. The single campaign is enjoyable but there is no reason to play it more than once.
Funysk1985 | Aug. 5, 2013 | Review of Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition
If you can get past the difficult learning curve and the occasional performance drops, then this game is definitely for you. If you loved demon souls, you will also like this game as it is a spiritual successor. The environment is beautiful and the story and lore isn't handed to you. You will learn the story through the item descriptions you pick up, and it is entirely up to you how you interpret them. The story is vast and even now there are new theories on youtube about the lore.
Funysk1985 | Aug. 5, 2013 | Review of Devil May Cry HD Collection
If you are a fan of the Bayonetta games, this collection is just for you. Made by the same person who designed them, this is like a spiritual successor to Bayonetta series. The combat is less refined than the Bayonetta game, but this is an HD remake of old games. The dialogue is just as corny and the combat is just as difficult, but once you get the hang of it, you will have hours of fun in the first dmc and the third dmc. Ignore the second ;)
Greatysk1985 | Aug. 3, 2013 | Review of FIFA 13
If you've played FIFA2012 you'll know that it was completely different to 2011. The seasons are updated based on the current teams at the time. Well this is the same, that is to say that the teams are updated in this game. You manage your teams and you feel good when they win, the game is addictive. At the time of this review, 2014 is already out for prepurchase, but if you can get this game at a bargain price, you'll definitely get some enjoyment out of it.
Greatysk1985 | Aug. 2, 2013 | Review of Dead Island
This game is amazing but you will get the most out of it with friends. The island is beautiful and the graphics and atmosphere really make it feel like you are stuck on an island with zombies. The story isn't too great but killing the zombies and the leveling system makes you strive for more. This game is funny as you try out your different skills on the zombies, and there are different parts where you can hack away at the zombies.
Greatysk1985 | Aug. 2, 2013 | Review of Borderlands
The game that started it all. You will find heaps of references to popular culture in this game, have fun spotting them all! The gameplay is fun but it can get repetitive. The graphics are amazing as the game looks cell shaded. The story is alright but the ending is a let down. The story is continued in the second game so look out for that. The gun system is nice as there are thousands of different combinations of mods that drop with the guns.
Funysk1985 | Aug. 2, 2013 | Review of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
This is the last great Call of Duty game that was released in my opinion. The game-play still feels fresh in this game as the single player campaign is unique and the story is told well. The multiplayer is dead as everyone has moved on to the newer Call of Duty games sadly, but this was a blast when there were people playing. You will still get the odd match going so you might get lucky and find one. The graphics are a real step up from Call of Duty 3.
Really goodysk1985 | Aug. 2, 2013 | Review of BioShock 2
Despite what the other reviews say, this is a great solid game. It's pretty much the same as the first game, if you liked that game, you will like this one too. There are a few new features such as taking pictures of the enemies as research to make them easier to fight. The story leaves you sympathizing with the npcs of the game like the sisters as in the first game. The creepy yet beautiful atmosphere of the first game is back.
Perfect gameysk1985 | Aug. 2, 2013 | Review of BioShock
The story is amazing. The graphics are amazing, it feels like you really are underground inside a city in the water. The atmosphere is creepy as you try to unravel the mystery of rapture. If you liked System Shock 2 you will like this game as it's a spiritual sequel - meaning it's sort of a remake of the game but with a different story.
Funysk1985 | Aug. 2, 2013 | Review of Battlefield 3 (EU)
This game is great. I had a blast on single player admiring the visuals. The graphics are amazing. There multiplayer is where this game shines though. There are many modes online including capture the flag and death match. You can pilot tanks and fly jets. There is a co op mode for you and a friend to play. Get this game now.
It's alightysk1985 | Aug. 2, 2013 | Review of Aliens: Colonial Marines Limited Edition
It doesn't feel like an aliens game but it's fun after the patches. It feels like a hard regular shooter but it's not what you call an Aliens game. If you are a hardcore fan of the Aliens series then this game is not for you, unless you can look past the fact that this is an average corridor shooter game with the brand name Aliens slapped on to it. Graphics are alright but nothing like the E3 demo.
Nice mousepadysk1985 | Aug. 2, 2013 | Review of Ozone Ground Level Xt Gaming Mouse Pad
This is one of the better mouse pads I have used. The grip actually grips to my glass table unlike other cheap brand mouse pads and the fabric doesn't irritate my skin after long use. The mouse glides across the surface smoothly yet the fabric hasn't worn out after continuous use. The mouse pad is still in perfect condition after a few months of use. Easily washable in water.
Great offerysk1985 | Aug. 2, 2013 | Review of Max Payne Complete Bundle
This bundle is a great offer, the first two Max Payne games were masterpieces. The third one didn't have as much a good story as the first two but it makes up for it with it's game-play and visuals the season pass of this game somewhat makes up for this. This is a nice bundle to buy and it should not be missed.
Alrightysk1985 | Aug. 2, 2013 | Review of Thor
This game is pretty average, it's alright but it's no Batman Arkham asylum. The combat is pretty basic. The story is quite forgettable. The game-play is repetitive and the graphics don't look all that great. This game is fun to pick up for a couple of hours every now and then, but it won't have you hooked for the weekend.
Alrightysk1985 | Aug. 2, 2013 | Review of Assassin’s Creed Revelations
After the highpoint of the series which was Assassin's Creed brotherhood, this game feels like a bit of a let down. Don't get me wrong, this is still a great game, as we finally get a conclusion of the story of Ezio, near the middle years of his life time. The graphics are nice and the environment is a nice change from the previous series. They added in a few new features such as tower defense like sequences, but most of these are optional. The story is wrapped up quite nicely in this game, but there are still a few questions left unanswered.
Greatysk1985 | Aug. 2, 2013 | Review of GRID 2
This game is great, it's like a car racing simulator, so don't buy this expecting a need for speed like game. It takes work to control your car but when you get the hand of it, it really feels like you are controlling the car, not the speeding along the race course. The single player is fun as the AI is very challenging, it feels like you are racing other people as they cut you off. The multiplayer is fine as there are a few lobbies every now and then (at the time of writing). The graphics is beautiful and the car physics seems real enough (that you car can get busted).
Greatysk1985 | Aug. 2, 2013 | Review of Batman: Arkham Asylum
This is a very nice start to the batman games. You can play this even if you have no knowledge of batman universe and it will still be enjoyable. The graphics are nice and story is great. The gameplay is awesome as you play as Batman, you really feel the role as you have access to his gadgets and fighting skills. The combat is fluid.
Worth itysk1985 | Aug. 2, 2013 | Review of PlayStation Plus Card - 1 Year Subscription
PlayStation Plus is totally worth it, you get it cheaper if you buy it in years and you have access to a lot of free AAA games they give out. You get back your money though those games plus many more features, I totally recommend this purchase.
Awesomeysk1985 | Aug. 2, 2013 | Review of Official Sony Dualshock Controller - Black
This controller is great, it works on android devices with bluetooth, it works on my PC and it works on a PS3 (obviously). It feels comfortable and the batteries last pretty long before having to recharge. There are no dead spots with the analog sticks and the D-Pad is great.
Pretty niceysk1985 | Aug. 2, 2013 | Review of Gioteck EX-03 Wireless Bluetooth Headset
this headset isn't bad, the sound quality of the games is great, I can hear other people's voices very clearly, there is no cracking sound like on some headphones. the battery lasts pretty long and recharging this device is easy. other people can hear my voice clearly as well.
