Beautiful Platform Game

My kids love this one! This platformer starts out simple, adding features to Nyx's abilities and obstacles as you go. The Greek-style graphics (it's a story about Icarus' girlfriend) are very nice, and my kids love seeing a female in the save-the-world role. The distinctive art direction is a huge plus, and the platforming elements, while not exceptional, get the job done and provide a challenge if you wish to collect the hidden relics.

basic platformer, but visually impressive

The gameplay of NyxQuest is fun, but nothing that hasn't been done countless times in platforming games. What drew me to this game was the mythological setting and the graphical style. Visually, this game is pretty impressive. The scenery is great to look at and there is enough variety to keep it engaging. They did a great job with the visual design of the game.

You play as Nyx, who is trying to rescue her friend Icarus. Using fancy moves and help from the gods, you make your way through various obstacles. There are hidden relics to collect and a few challenge levels that add to the life of the game.

While this is definitely not the most impressive platformer, the beautiful visuals compelled me to keep playing just so I could see more of them. That may not be enough for everyone, but it worked for me.
