I bought this game on sale and liked the value I was getting with all the DLC and multiplayer packs. I knew I would like the skirmish missions and tell you now that after holding out for so long - I have never been so pleasantly surprised in my life. This game is great. Yes, there is no distinct campaign, but I dont really remember having ever played an RTS game solely for its story or campaign. This game provides you with missions spanning 5 different factions and several different locations. Each faction has its own units and all units play a different way. The DLC you get with this bundle also expands the number of skirmish missions you get and let me tell you - it really really adds value to the game to be able to play through so many additional missions. Gameplay-wise I LOVE being able to control each unit and also love being able to have direct control. It just so satisfying and thankfully isnt an overpowered feature as you still have to strategically move and engage the enemy. Performance is also solid and the visuals, while not the best, are great and consistent the whole way through. I love the explosions and how you feel the force behind it as a tank explodes. Its brilliant. Multiplayer has a big learning curve so be ready to lose and get hammered. Thankfully I met some nice individuals who were good sports and I think Ill be liking multiplayer more and more over time. Overall - very highly recommended. It changed how I look at tactical RTS games - I honestly cannot look at Company of Heroes the same ever again.
