Reviews for The Journey Down: Chapter One [Legacy]

Fun little puzzle game

Fun little point-and-click adventure game with a focus on inventory puzzles, meaning it can be played by basically anyone. Even me. There's a nice atmosphere with cartoony (but somewhat realistic) graphics and some weird looking characters. Say what you want, but these characters do stand out. The music fits the game in a wonderful way, thanks to these same characters. The game can be finished in about 3 hours, and, let's face it, since this is episode 1 so there are (most likely) more to come (you have to pay for them individually though). It's reasonably priced anyway so you may want to add this to your collection someday.

A pretty well done adventure game. The Journey Down has a really interesting aesthetic wich is totally envolving and unique. The voice acting is really really good and in my opnion fits perfectly with each character. The puzzles are well designed and doesn't make a fool of the players. Loved this game from the first cutscene on. Can't wait for the other chapters. I'd recommend it if you like adventures!

Don't listen to bad critics, the game is simply amazing, great voice acting, great story, great music, the only bad thing of this game is that its simply short, probably 2-3 hours of game , but come on, its first chapter, the price is even low for this game, some puzzles are easy and theres is a lot of good humour in the game, I enjoyed too much of this game and I dont really like Point n click, just give it a try, im sure you will find a piece of gold in Journey Down.

One of my favourite adventure games!

The Journey Down is a remake of the free adventure game of the same name. It's in the style of old LucasArts games - there are a lot of puzzles, fishy jokes and mysteries. I love the aesthetics and graphics of the game. A big improvement over the original game. The writing and voice acting are hilarious. The expressions on the main characters, Bwana and Kito, are sometimes priceless! I loved this game, everyone should get it.
