The Obama Clan DLC adds a new playable faction to the Fall of the Samurai DLC, that is quite fun to play. The Obama clan support the Shogunate. They receive a taxation bonus, which is quite useful for economy and all of their land units have reduced upkeep. Their defending garrison units have more experience as well and they get a +2 repression bonus across all provinces, so obviously they have some really nice and useful bonuses that you can benefit from. It is a descent DLC, no doubt worth buying if you enjoy playing Fall of the Samurai.

The Name

Honestly, I bought this just because of its name. Yeah, I know what the first thing that pops up in your head is. But the DLC itself is like the small Magicka DLC packs which give nothing of real value. You get the Obama faction which is just a reskin of every other faction seen in the game, with very few stat changes. But if it's on a sale, I guess it's okay as the price isn't all that huge.

Adds some variety, wait for a sale

Obama Faction pack, while it has nothing to do with Barack Obama, is a DLC worth checking out on a sale. It brings an all-new faction to the Fall of the Samurai, with their own units and traits. It is also usable in both singleplayer and multiplayer, which is great if you like playing multiplayer, as it makes you stand out a bit. Verdict: Worth it on a sale.
