Favourite Worms Game

Worms Reloaded is my favourite Worms game. It has the same classic gameplay and weapons as all other Worms games. The gameplay is very smooth and the graphics are very well done! The DLCs brings alot of additional content, I felt that it was worth it getting the GOTY edition.

As good as armagedon was

I've spent a lots of time playing worms armageddon, tried to play all various 3d versions of worms but i wasn't pleased with them. I gave up on series and with caution tried reloaded and... that was almost shocking! 2d gameplay as in old game. Variety of weapons, new locations, new behaviors of weapons, more advanced physics, all of these are positive. Worms are fun, smart, crazy, cruel, full of dark humor. Twisted strategy with fun, that game is good for older players as also for younger to improve their planning skills.

Worms reloaded is a very good fun but also requires and trains your strategy skills. Perfect game for whole family.

Mayhem Continues

There used to be a limit on how much fun a game could be. Worms Reloaded broke it. The worms jump, talk, swings with ninja ropes, flies with jetpacks and does what they are best at: blows everything up! And if it ever starts to bore you, you can always drop a concrete donkey or throw a banana bomb at your enemies.

In a time of photo-realistic 3d games, Worms Reloaded doesn't fail to entertain the player with simplistic 2d graphics.

The DLCs are a perfect addition to this already wonderful game.

Worms is always great fun, whether alone or with friends. Reloaded brings lots of new weapons and utilities to make the game as fun as ever. The DLC also provides plenty of extra content for endless enjoyment! Highly recommended as a game to play with friends.

Much needed Worms.

It may not be a huge departure from the original games but Worms is always fun. The standalone game has little content but with the DLC brings some hefty stuff for standalone gaming. If you're going to grab a Worm game, it's this one.

Worms. Worms never changes.

Worms Reloaded is full of the classic weapons and gameplay you've come to expect from this franchise.

As always, best enjoyed with a friend locally - while the online multiplayer can be just as fun, it can sometimes be frustrating trying to connect with other players.

The GOTY edition packs in a load of content - all you need to do is grab your bazooka, ninja rope, an old lady and a sheep, and you're good to go!

The well succesfull return of the 2D Worms

Worms: Reloaded GOTY is Team 17's great comeback to the 2D Worms World and uses the famous turn-based gameplay. The game includes an extensive single player and multiplayer for up to four people, where you compete against friends or worms controlled by computer and comes with both classic and new weapons. This includes all the DLC, which is quite alot and it's for a worthy price. This is a definite pick-up for the Worms fans.

Great Pack

lachking | Nov. 5, 2012 | See all lachking's reviews »

Worms Reloaded is a good game and a return to form for Team 17 after the 3D games that didn’t work out so well. This pack includes Worms Reloaded and its DLCs. Worms Reloaded goes back to the traditional 2D game where you use all sorts of wacky weapons to kill your enemies. The DLCs make the game even better through adding lots of customisation features, achievements and missions. The Retro pack, in particular adds some really interesting missions like those from Worms World Party that differ from the norm and have you complete objectives in wacky circumstances, such as using the weapon Armageddon to kill a worm standing next to you, forcing you to find cover. The puzzle pack is also particularly good as you have to use your brain and figure out how to complete objectives with only a small array of weapons available. Overall, good game made even better with some cool missions and large array of customisation options.

The best worms game since worms Armageddon

liquidsnake78 | Oct. 31, 2012 | See all liquidsnake78's reviews »

I have been a huge fan of worms series right until Armageddon , the later 3d transition was horrible and ruined the series completely. I purchased this new game worms reloaded goty version on gmg on a awesome sale , i was shocked when i played it , the game reminded me of the classic Armageddon everything was almost there in this new game and it was 2d . I highly recommend purchasing the gmg version of worms reloaded goty , its got a ton of extra dlc content almost adding twice the amount of gameplay. Here are my pros and cons on the game pros: -2d :D this is how the worms game is meant to be played not 3d - brings back all the classic fun weapons such has holy grenade ,super sheep etc - simple and fun to use worms user interface , creating teams, editing sounds are a breeze - has both the the single player as well as multiplayer parts -tries to stick close to the well appreciated Armageddon mechanics which were close to prefect. -runs great on older systems

Cons: - the base game has little content , it is highly recommended to get the goty version to grab all the dlcs -the multiplayer is broken , lots of disconnection issues and no cross multiplayer option to play those on mac

I would still recommend this game over the newer worms revolution that's come out ,although a few more patches could fix the multiplayer issues in the game.

Remember the old days where the only thing between a Worm and the other Worm was a Bazooka? Yes? Well - Those days are BACK! All-new 2D graphics with great details and animations, bunch of interesting and powerful weapons that make the Worms' skin crawl (do they even have skin?), lots of interesting and funny looking levels,... All that in just one game called Worms: Reloaded GOTY! What are you waiting for, grab it for a great price on GMG!

A great return to the 2D Worms games!

jeyko | July 3, 2012 | See all jeyko's reviews »

Worms Reloaded: GOTY includes the main game, all of the released DLC and the soundtrack. Reloaded improves on almost every aspect of the old 2D Worms games, and adds even more silly weapons and features. If you haven't played Worms before, you control a bunch of worms, which use goofy weapons to defeat the enemy team. You control one worm at a time, switching to another one, after the enemy's turn is over. The environments are fully destructible. There are almost 50 weapons and gadgets in Reloaded - ranging from Bazookas to Donkeys and Super Sheep. Also, there is online and local multiplayer; one of the funnest aspects of Worms! Though, if you aren't playing with friends, you will find yourself stuck with the sometimes overpowered, and sometimes stupid AI. Also, if you haven't got friends to play with, the multiplayer is dead. These are my only concerns. A mustbuy for every Worms fan, and new players alike!

Now THIS is a game and a half!

Devil_Mish | July 2, 2012 | See all Devil_Mish's reviews »

By far the BEST worms game I've ever played! From worms world party and Armageddon on the PS1, up to the not so good 3D worms... And this is the best by far!

Just the nostalgia feel of this game itself is amazing and with the value of all the worms reloaded dlc into one pack AND the team fortress 2 content update? You seriously cannot go wrong...

A twisted game played with friends but with a deep strategy curve... Brilliant idea and still to this day one of the best shooters there is that you can buy... Well... One of the less serious ones anyway!
