Well worth a shot.

The Arkham games have seriously improved since Asylum, with gameplay mechanics from previous games being included, yet improved. The PC version is good, but console versions would be recommended for better controls. Or you could use a controller. Good length, good story - if not for a few villains merely included for it being a Batman game and needing more Batman villains.

One of the best licensed games

This is truly one of the best games based on a license...heck, it's one of the best games period. The gameplay is addictive and challenging, the story is intense and well written and the voice acting is phenomenal. If you don't have this, buy it immediately.

Better than I thought it would be.

I have yet to play Arkham Asylum (thought I have bought it and intend to play it soon) but thought i'd rent this game for 6 nights from my local rental store. I've heard that this game isn't as good as the first but I found it to be a really good game. The visuals are nice at the atmosphere of the prison is portrayed very nicely. The story seems pretty standard for Batman, it's great fun and doesn't slow down for a second. The game-play is the part that I was surprised at, the stealth works so well in this game to give the player a real sense of achievement. The combat is good but it's far more rewarding to just pick off enemys one at a time leaving the others in confusion. This is a great game and I would definitely recommend it to any batman fan or gamer. While I did complete it in a few nights that was down to me playing it too much rather than the game being too short.
