This is by far one of the best truck simulation that is available in the market. You have different set of scenario that as a player to play which instructed you to drive from point A to point B, how to get there is up to you. During your drive you will visit many European cities and roads. One great aspect is the varieties of trucks that are available for the player to drive. Downside, the game have been released for a long time already so it has aged alot and the graphic will not be as great as its sequel. But if you are looking for a relaxing experience where you can just drive from places to places then this is the game for you.

Euro Truck Simulator is a transport simulator. Take your truck from end to end of Europe carrying the most diverse objects.
GOOD POINTS Realism, carry your load from one city to another, given that you must respect the periods of rest and refuel from time to time your truck. In addition each highway has the name given in the European code plus reality with which it will be hard to miss. The graphics are well made, the landscapes have a high level of detail. Hook, and you should go with those completing trasnportes receive money for improvements in your truck or in your passport (eg the possibility of certain types of dangerous goods) or simply to open borders and conquer new countries.
NEGATIVES Both the number of roads as the cities themselves are greatly simplified: the landscapes are very repetitive. Excessive fines, especially in terms of speed: you can only go to 90 km / h, too slow considering the speed that vehicles carry the other with you, trucks included.

Euro truck simulator is a fun game! You start out by picking which european country to start out in, the you pick your first truck then you get going! You earn money b driving trailers from one city to another city. Its really strait forward, you drive along the highway, get gas if you need it, drop off the trailer and get money! You use money to repair and upgrade your truck, buy new trucks, for gas, and to gain access to other countries you do not have access to at the beginning. Graphics are good, best of any 18 wheels of steel game! . There are many types of cargo from ice creme, to acid. This game will provide hours of fun for any trucking fan. If you do not like driving, trucks, or your impatient I would not recommend this game but if you are then I highly recommend this game!

Well, this game is surprisingly good. I wish I had spent my money on it before instead of wasting 60 bucks on other over hyped games that fail to deliver. Anyway, I am not a huge truck simulator fan. In fact, this is the second simulator of its kind that I put my hands on, but it's also a business simulator of sorts, which is pretty cool, fulfilling and HARD to manage. As you slowly accomplish your own set goals, the game feels very rewarding. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous. You can see landmarks that distinguish every other city in Europe. There are LOTS of cities to go to, explore, get jobs, hire personnel, buy trucks and garages. I was shocked the first time I saw the pedestrians walking by. It all feels very alive and beautiful. The star of the game itself is the truck, or rather the plethora of trucks. You have very detailed and extremely customizable trucks to play with. Driving the truck is relatively simple and easy (I recommend a gamepad), and the real challenge comes from maneuvering the truck in tight spaces like real truckers do. It takes a lot of time and practice to get good at it.

to deliver it.I am not fan of simulator games but my dad said once "Go study or you have to be truck driver." so i looked for truck simulators and I found that jewel. Game can get repetetive but if you listen some music you can play it for a bit to relax and enjoy the landscapes.I have no idea does this game has an end or not because even after maxing my truck engine and unlocking all locations I didn't see "The end" sign.So get in to the truck, load the cargo and let's go!!
Tired of Driving IRL? Try Driving Ingame!Mondu | Sept. 3, 2011 | See all Mondu's reviews »
As mentioned in the details, the locations are fairly realistic and it's nice to drive the roads found in Europe, seeing the landmarks ingame; but ultimately it becomes boring as you're doing nothing but a second job and not getting paid for it. The graphics at times can look beautiful which is partly down to the fact that it's fun to see the landmarks known IRL, but at other times they can look horrible compared to other areas. The world is pretty big too, which is understandable as you're driving around Europe, but a lot of the time the roads will be blocked and you wont be able to go down them. But this is a game so I understand the limitations.
Maybe not worth the full price but this could be a game you would enjoy if you can't drive IRL.

This game is a long one where your aim is to deliver cargo on time to different places in Europe. I have to say, the terrain and landscape is stunning at times, and you begin to really enjoy the game quite quickly, but the novelty soon wears off and the gameplay becomes repetitive and dull. As the title says, okay.
