In the shadows of Chivalry

Angeluzian | Dec. 24, 2012 | See all Angeluzian's reviews »

This game is good, but it's flaws puts it in the shadow of chivalry even though it has things that beats chivalry by far, such as horse combat and better ranging. But the brutality of chivalry alone beats it. If you want a better looking and smoother overall gameplay, but less maps and objectives, this is the game for you. If you like medieval combat I would say pick up both though.

Great combat, awesome maps, great graphics.

Well this has to be some of the most fun i have had this year playing games.Graphics are really good for a multiplayer game that supports up to 64 players. Combat is really good, directional attacks, directional blocks, armor matters, ranged combat.. .everything just worked really well. The maps are also really nice and well done, i cant think of any map that I don't enjoy playing.Character customization also brings something else to the game and adds a bit of depth to the game as most people have different load out for their characters. There are a few little bugs and only two games modes but they are patching the game quite a lot and they are also working on adding more map types, mainly objective maps Also during beta combat was very much a swing fest, this has mostly been fixed and they are constantly trying to balance things out.

A great Medieval Multiplayer action game

Overall If you like Mount and Blade, you gotta fall in love with game. Maybe there is a lack of MOD at the moment, but it won't let you down. The game creates a medieval world for you to explore, the atmosphere it creates is elegant, but every fight you have is gonna be nasty. The controls are okay, if you have experience in playing action games you have no trouble in adapting to it. So don't worry, give it a go. I don't understand why people in some other game reviews (not here) complains about the graphics. For me, it looks pretty great.

Mount and Blade Lite

Figgots | Sept. 13, 2012 | See all Figgots's reviews »

This game is developed by and is very similar to the team who made the Mount and Blade series. It's sort of like the Call of Duty of Mount and Blade, but not in a bad way. It's a lot easier to get into, you have unlocks where you can get new weapons and armor and even skills such as dashing or shield blows. It's very enjoyable and has a fairly steep skill cap.

If you enjoy mount and blade but don't want the incredibly steep skill curve, you'll truly enjoy this game. The price may be a little high, but it's well worth the hours you'll get of enjoyment.

multiplayer only m&b combat

Leotime0 | Sept. 13, 2012 | See all Leotime0's reviews »

The game feels like playing warband multiplayer with better graphics and added mechanics, it feels lacking but that's just because it's only a beta, but so far it's just what you want if you loved m&b

Medieval fun!

thewhitewolf | Sept. 3, 2012 | See all thewhitewolf's reviews »

The game itself is really fun to play in multiplayer mode, unlocking new armor, weapons, gear. Customizing your character and then sending him to battle is a cool way to set up a fair amount of fun. Since the game is still in beta, it has a few bugs, but there is no doubt they will be fixed on the full release. For what it is currently i would still recommend trying it out yourself, definitely a fun game to play!

War of the Roses is set to Team multiplayer action game where the story was set in the realities of fifteenth-century England. Players have the opportunity to move into the field of battle the famous War of the Roses, fought between the Lancasters and Yorks families. The developers from the studio Fatshark have laid great emphasis on the game mode, but without forgetting the one-man play about the followers.
