This game really amazed me. The soundrack is incredible. Songs are build from sounds and mouth sounds but remains really nice to ear ! Graphics are awesome. Everything is handdrawn and the character design is really great. Even if the game require reflexion sometimes, it's not really tricky. In fact, it's more contemplative to my mind. You explore this fantastic world and listen to an awesome music by solving different puzzles. If you liked machinarium, don't hesistate, and even if you aren't into that kind of game, this world deserves to be explored !

Endless joy and a micro world full of wonders awaits you on an adorable puzzle/adventure to save mother nature's life. Great visuals and stylization with breathtaking sounds and music from DVA band. Do not even think about missing this outstanding piece of art from the Amanita Design makers of Machinarium!

This game is the best work from Amanita Design, with outstanding artistic design, the fantastic soundtracks and the heartwarming plot, you will love everything about this game. Botanicula is a short game but the experience is unique, in point & click adventure games you have a lot dialogues to read but here you will follow the story without any text and helping five different characters to finish this wonderful adventure with a nature setting. The graphics and animations are awesome, I think I never saw a 2D game like this before, it is a game full of visual surprises. Also this game is perfect for everyone, all ages can enjoy Botanicula.

Botanicula is a point&click adventure game that takes place in a wonderful environment, through the foliage of a tree that you must save. You control a group of small "things": a feather, a mushroom, a seed, a twig and an acorn that must work together in order to save their home tree from a bunch of parasites that infested it. The mechanics of the game are pretty simple and the puzzles you have to solve are not very hard, most of them being one screen-one puzzle; somewhat like Machinarium. What makes this game really easy to love is its graphic style. Everything looks ver detaliled and has nice animations that look very natural. You can see the love that was put in this game's artistic style. The sound is also very well done, with a soundtrack that blends together jazz and a few other styles in order to create an auditive experience to match the visual one. Although is pretty short, Botanicula is a game that must be played, if not for the gameplay, at least for the lovely graphics and soundtrack.

Simple yet great adventure game

Botanicula is a very gorgeous adventure game from the creators of Machinarium. It does have in fact a lot of similarities with Machinarium, the story is told through on screen action, without any dialogue, the puzzles are in general very simple but still satisfaying and the soundtrack is great. Personally I think I prefer the friendlier approach of Botanicula and it's a game I would recommend to anyone.
