This game is still pretty decent. It is a strategy game and it takes some getting used to, but once I did- I found that it was actually a really nice game. Hours upon hours of gameplay and still going strong, I'd definitely recommend it!

This game is fun and light strategic gameplay, but lacks in the "balance" department, and ultimately winds up having too little actual depth in its gameplay to keep it going for too long. Fundamentally, this is a game of real-time Battleship. You seek out enemy units that dart about the map, and try to destroy them before they can destroy you. Unfortunately, by the late game, you get range and area-of-effect boosting powers that ultimately wind up meaning that it's easier to just progressively saturation-bomb the map rather than actually hunt for the enemy. It's a fun game while it lasts, but it ultimately has a definite lifespan where you can definitively say that you've experienced everything this game has to offer. If there were just more mechanics to give the game more depth, it could have been more deeply satisfying for a greater period of time.

I played a lot of war games but this one offers a different direction in the art part, all the characters are little girls with cute faces and a humorous behavior, for a war setting this is very hilarious, even the intro is like an anime opening with a japanese singer.
The gameplay is splitted in two parts: a turn-based strategy game with a grid, and a visual novel where the only thing you need to do is read, if you like the characters and the story you will enjoy it.
For this price, you can check out this game.

I hadn't heard about this game until luckily I saw a writeup on it elsewhere and decided to give it a shot. It's a weird little strategy game with a humorous story and sympathetic characters. At ~10 hours in I find myself with still plenty left to do and can say the money was well spent indeed.

War of the Human Tanks is a great downloadable Japanese indie game. It's a hardcore, but easy to get used to strategy game. The graphic style is really, really charming and adorable. But here's the problem - the game... isn't really a game. It's mostly a visual novel (with a horrendous translation) with bits of actual gameplay sometimes. Also you click a lot. You will know what I mean. War of the Human Tanks is definitely worth checking out if you are searching for something new.
Is it an IOS game ? Gotta do better than thisleoleelok | Sept. 14, 2012 | See all leoleelok's reviews »
Overall BAD. Not the kind of game I imagined. Though I am from Asia, and I still think the style of the graphics kinda turn me off. Most (if not all) army units are in the form of ''cute' little'' girls, I found it kinda strange during my walkthrough of the game.
Time of gaming The time of gaming is okay, given you can replay the battle again and again. But for me, I spent like 4 hours and ..... it's done.
Sound effects All sound effects are way too ''cute''. If you love japanese animation, you might love it, but I don't particularly like this style of sound effects.
Graphics Bad. An ios game might do better than that. I understand that the game based more on the usage of strategy. However, it's already 2012, and a game on PC, asking for money should do much better than that. If this is just a flash game, it's okay. BUT, dude, you are marketing it with a price. And the quality of graphics need a meet the standard.
