Old but still good.

As the description states the game is indeed a very successful blend of RTS and RPG. Character progression is pretty straightforward and easy to manage with an extensive array of skills and spells as well as enough loot to satisfy a hardcore rpg fan. The strategic part of the game can be called rather simple but its definitely NOT boring with distinctive races to control led by your mighty heroes and titans. The Story campaigns are engaging and quite long, regularly and timely alternating between RPG and RTS bits. In my opinion the second game is slightly inferior to the first one and its expansions but it's still definitely worth your time, especially for this price. If you're a fan of at least one of the genres then you will have fun with this game.

The Spellforce series offers a unique gameplay, combining elements from RPG and real time strategy games, the games offer a huge campaign with a party of characters fighting the enemies and sometimes your task is building a great army and prepare a good defense for your village.

My favourite of the collection is Spellforce 2 and the new Stand Alone Expansion: SpellForce 2 Faith in Destiny is awesome, with a lot of content. it continues the storyline and add new units. The graphics are the same like the previous games but they look good.

The price for all the games in the series is great and you will have hundreds of hours of fun.
