Day to day time waster

Create a team of fellow high schoolers to join your reboot comedy club. Walk through town, get your homework done, and maybe read a few magazines to brush up on your cultural news. This game has a lot of chat between characters, although the gameplay gets repetitive. A couple of one liners here and there and overall pretty comedic. Why live your own life when you can live the life of a teenage girl?

A quite nice "sim" game.

There were very popular online flash games called "sim" game. Ever played one? Most of these games main objective was to get girl naked, but well, this one sadly isn't about it... Anyway, in this kind of games you were able to do few things daily, had some money/points etc. to spent, and did it over and over and over. You know what? Cherry Tree High Comedy Club kinda remind me of "sim" games. Sadly, it's not for everyone. You will probably need to be fan of this genre, or be into japanese animation. If you are into one of these things, you will not regret getting this game.

A delightful game with a sense of humor

Cherry Tree High Comedy Club is a title that is an absolute mouthful to say aloud. It is also a delightful slice of life adventure / life simulator reminiscent of visual novels, filled with heart and some genuine laughs. Gameplay largely consists of choosing how to spend your day, between hanging out with friends to strengthening relationships and developing your skills, which can be a bit simplistic at times. A playthrough will only take a couple hours, but the reward is loads of amusing dialogue. The localization is fantastic; the developers have done a brilliant job translating it and making it relevant for Western audiences. Games like this don't come around often, and it's certainly not for everyone, but if your curiosity is piqued, you'll it's quirky game unlike most anything else.

Fun Relationship Simulator

A relatively quick and fun game about making new friends; CTHSCC features nicely drawn anime character designs and a system that's easy to jump into. I appreciated that the game wasn't out to trick you; if you plan ahead and do what seems reasonable, there's no reason you can't accomplish the goals in the game. However, if you want the perfect ending that'll take a bit more doing. It features a sort of new game plus mode, in which some of your statistics carry over making it easier to achieve that perfect ending. The game can be played fullscreen (just ALT+ENTER), but it would be great to see it with some HD options to eliminate the pixelation. A small gripe though, for an otherwise fun and simple game.

Needs More Love

If you have ever played the Persona series, you'll be familiar with Social Links. Essentially, you hang out with friends, and as you get closer you rank up, eventually maxing out and becoming inseparable friends. Cherry Tree High Comedy Club is, essentially, that as a whole game. It's rather short, with only a few characters to become friends with and roughly two-in game months, but it's still very interesting, and completely underrated due to next to nobody knowing about it sadly. If you like simulation type games, this is for you. And if you don't, it's still worth a shot at that price tag.

A very nice unique game

This game is both a simulator and a point and click game. Your task is to recruit some members to ake a comedy, and to due this you must travel around the town, doing several quest gaining skill to recruit that particular NPC. The gameplay is hard to describe, but is unique for sure. Simply try it (maybe when it is on deal), and you may love it a lot!
