Part of the BL2 DLC galore, originally part of a pre-order deal, the Natural Selection Annex (or Creature Slaughter Dome) is an arena filled with wildlife. Ranging from stalkers to threshers to varkids, there is a great deal of variety in the enemies you're fighting. The price is a bit too expensive for what it has to offer, but it's definitely a pickup to be considered on sale! ... Oh almost forgot, it's a pretty decent place to spawn Vermivorous ( only experienced vault hunters are gonna understand this one, but they'll be happy about it), so keep that in mind!

I good dlc that gets a lot of flak and bad reviews but is really good. At a quite cheap price, you are getting a fun arena to battle monsters in. It is great especially with a team of friends. A great buy

This dlc is the Creature Slaughter Dome. In this dome, you are pitted against all beastly enemies in the game forcing you to survive by outsmarting all of them. While not the hardest challenge, this dome was fun to play while I was with friends. I also got this as a pre-order bonus but I would recommend buying it if you just have to get the full Borderlands 2 experience.

The Creature Slaughter Dome is one of the many arenas in Pandora, this time dedicated to the beastly creatures like bullymongs and stalkers among others. While these arenas are good fun for a while with the many waves and increasing difficulty, there really isn't much here besides just shooting many mooks and getting a relatively decent rocket launcher which the main game provides plenty of for each. If you weren't fortunately enough to get the dome as a pre-order bonus or as part of a bundle, it isn't a bad addition, but I'd save my money for one of the actual DLC campaigns first if you haven't tried those yet.

I got this a while ago now on GMG and it's been a nice addition to the gameplay. Not very long, but still it allows you to save your progress halfway through one of the longer (and on later playthroughs, more challenging) parts of the game. Go ahead and get it using GMG's voucher codes :)
Not worth the extra money, but still a good paynightassassin1 | Aug. 21, 2013 | See all nightassassin1's reviews »
This would remind you very much of other arenas you would find around Borderlands 1 and 2. It is essentially Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot from the first game. I have the feeling of being in pretty much any other arena that I have seen in the world already and the only thing that seems to be an incentive to play this is to grab Moxxi's special rocket launcher. If you got it with preorder from Gamestop you got a decent addition to the game, but I feel it is not really $5 worth. $2 or $3 would be better. For most people a little more is fine for them, however as a college student the amount of games I can obtain is pretty low. I love Green Man because of this with their constant sales. If you grab the game with a 25% off code, that will make it a decent price. The graphics are the same as the standard game. The monsters are pretty much all there. There is little addition to the game with this pack unless you like mindless slaughter. It can be a good place to go for testing weapons and just blowing things up. The little game extension gives it a hit to the rating and the low, but not quite low enough rating is not going to take away from this, as I am grateful that it did not cost 10-20 dollars like other game makers would do. My opinion would be to not get this unless you really love long streams of monsters to destroy. The rocket launcher is not worth the $5 and for me, the play is not worth it either.

I heard this was a pre-order bonus on some platforms, in the end it feels a little lacking. It's an arena battle where you fight against the critters gathered from across Pandora. Lots of skags, bullymongs and threshers. Played through it twice, both times with little to no challenge, the end reward for completion was okay, could be good for players who just need one more thing to do in the already fantastic borderlands 2.

If you loved to fight in the arenas during the Mad Moxxi's DLC for the first Borderlands, you can do the same thing installing the Creature Slaughter Dome for Borderlands 2. Fight in the arena is quite repetitive and become boring after some time, but it's a good way to gain experience and good weapons.

If you miss Moxxi's Underdome from the first Borderlands, the Creature Slaughter Dome is for you, you can fight with all the enemies of Pandora from Borderlands 2 in waves, you can gain experience and keep the loot for the main game, also you can get the glorious Moxxi's Rocket Launcher, a devasting weapon. This DLC is worth it if you like shoot every enemy you see.
A Fun Place to Spend a Little TimeTHE3DDUNK | Dec. 17, 2012 | See all THE3DDUNK's reviews »
The creature slaughter dome is a fun place to spend a hour or two, but overall doesn't have much play time in it when there are so many other things you can be doing in the game. But while the fun last it is a fun place to spend a little time and to get Moxxi's Rocket Launcher. Overal it is fun, but if you didn't like the Circle of Slaughter at the Fridge, then you won't be finding too much enjoyment in the Creature Slaughter Dome.
