Reviews for The Saboteur (NA)

Solid, if unremarkable

The Saboteur is the unfortunate swan song of the late Pandemic Studios. A great concept, the game is enjoyable but may be disappointing to some. From a technical standpoint, the game has reasonable but unremarkable graphics and sound. It's just not the best looking game, and some sounds and voice acting stand out (in a bad way). The game has a few known bugs, and is a little difficult to handle sometimes. That being said, the story is workable and the setting is unique. The game uses B/W and Color to accent your surroundings, and the effect can be fantastic. The game is open-world, and provides a classic set of weapons, vehicles, and items to match 1940s occupied France. In my opinion, The Saboteur is an average game that sometimes exceeds your expectations, and also can disappoint. It's worth the trip though for open world game fans that would like a setting different than your typical GTA style game.

Good Game, But Could Be Better

Saboteur is a game set in World War 2 as a french revolutionary with lots of shooting, parkour, fighting, and of course, sabotaging things. The game is really fun but as you play the game parts of it become very repetitive and you start noticing things that could be better. If you want something historical but not too long ago with great parkour, get this game!

Aims high but falls short

While not terrible, this GTA style action adventure game sets you in WWII as a french revolutionary. The game is very bland, and nothing really sticks out in this game. It can be said the art style is great, but when the rest of the game is so run of the mill, I fail to see how it matters at all
