I'm a die hard Sonic fan but even I can admit when it has its mess ups. Sonic Adventure is pretty amateurish looking and feeling, definitely not the worst Sonic game ever made but comparing the production values of Adventure 1 to Adventure 2 is like comparing an Alpha game concept to a fully fledged title in retrospect. In 2004 they ported the game to PC as the Director's Cut and made out pretty decently as a PC port, but for some reason they decided to change the Steam version to the much inferior console port which has bug issues, locked resolution and is overall pretty amateur. If you still like Sonic Adventure you'll live through it but otherwise stick to SA2 instead which is much better in almost every way.

Seeing this game brings good feelings, the first Sonic 3D game, amazingly well made for it's time, with cool stories for the 6 characters, good use of scenery and movement of each character. This game is a hit in history, never doubt that.

This is a game of nostalgia. I will admit I don't think it holds up entirely too well on the PC, but if you know what you're going in for, then this is a prize. The graphics are decent now (at one time, these were top of the line) but the gameplay is all the same. And by the way, this is a pretty long game and you will be spending a lot of time mastering it and completing everything. It's hard to put down once you get started and there are plenty of awe-inspiring moments in this game. Again, if you can get past the graphics, you will really enjoy it.

This game was a hit on Dreamcast (and later ported to Gamecube) thanks to the awesome and pretty graphics, the six characters (Sonic, Tails, Amy Rose, Knuckles, E-102 Gamma and Big the Cat) the game offers varied gameplay, fast action with Sonic, Shooter zones with Gamma and even fishing time with Big)
If you never played this game before, now it is the moment to do it.

When Nintendo take out his Super Mario 64, there weren't many 3D platformers on console. Sonic Adventure DX is pretty much one of the best opponent for that title. A brand new Sonic game completely in 3D, manteining both old feature (like the ring grabbing) and new ones, with giant bosses to fight on the way. The interesting thing is that in this game there are six characters, each with his own campaign, so the game will require a lot of time to be completed, but you will never get bored. The price of this GMG deal is very low, for one of the best game of all time.
