Reviews for SEGA Retro Steam Bundle

A pack of gaming history

This whole pack, especially the SEGA mega drive collection is basically my childhood in a nutshell. Old school players may find Jet Set Radio makes this bundle hard to pass up. Sadly for me, most of these games have not stood the test of time and I don't really find myself interested in playing these old games anymore aside from a short lived boredom killer. Historic game enthusiasts or people who really want to relive old memories may definitely want to pick this pack up (you don't need my review to tell how good these games are if you grew up with them). For other people, you may want to avoid it or wait until the pack is on sale, there is a lot of time to waste here and it is worth the money, but for some, getting out what you put in may be very difficult.

A trip down memory lane

This collections offers a variety of classic SEGA games from the Genesis and Dreamcast eras. Some of them like Jet Set Radio and NiGHST have been remade with high-res visuals. Most are emulated versions of the original games. The emulator is not the most fully featured emulator out there, but it still offers a number of essential features like gamepad support and quick saving. Overall this is a good collection that is recommended when on sale for a good price.

This bundle is simply a must-have for retrogamers. For only 19 euro you will have access to ALL the Sega classic games (except Sonic ones) released on PC, and their HD version as for Night and Jet Set Radio. Buying this will mean don't buy anything more fore a few months, because there are hundred of solid and valid games, from Golden Axe to Ristar. Nights into Dream only is worth the whole package, a game as Sega never released another good as this one. All the games comes with a Steam key to redeem, and you can even use the 20% coupon on it.
