Sometimes it's easy to forget that you're supposed to be one of the good guys. Let the SWAT pack help remind you! De-escalate tense situations with a 9mm and remind those pesky triads what law and order means. The focus here is definitely on the gun fights, and having backup on your side helps create a sense of being part of a team. You're not missing much without this DLC, but it's a great way to enjoy a rampage without having to worry about things like being discrete or getting arrested. So hop in a heavily armored van, turn up the radio, set the cruise control and get ready to serve up several healthy proportions of hot leaded justice.
Quite a good DLCrjb789 | Sept. 24, 2013 | See all rjb789's reviews »
For the price this DLC is fairly good value. You get a SWAT suit and a gun you can use. Its nice to feel much stronger than your opponents in the game for a change and just be able to cause chaos whenever you feel like it. There are some new and very fun missions to play through which uses the SWAT suit and they are interesting as its fun to play as an overpowered gun-wielding SWAT man.
Good addon to the game, but nothing specialCrazy4ever | May 27, 2013 | See all Crazy4ever's reviews »
Sleeping Dogs in itself is a really good game. The swat DLC is an addon to this game. Its fairly exciting. The style of the swat suit you get is really cool, but unfortunatly you only get to use a gun. You often feel cool just using a pistol, but sometimes you wish you could just be a real overpowered swat-cop and pawn some bad guys. Still, its a great addon to the already great game as it ads quite a few new side-missions to your map. They are good fun because you can get into a cool firefight without having to shoot lots of random people. Also, its great fun teaming up with other cops. Its a good dlc, but I think it should be free, though. Still, the low price makes up for this, so if you are a fan of Sleeping Dogs, you should buy it, if not its still a good dlc, but you should be aware of that it is nothing very extraordinary.
