This game is definitely something...

Well this game is what it is, it's supposed to be a gateway fps shooter to introduce the movement for mouse and aiming in general for smaller or lesser skilled players. And it is just that, a simple semi-cool training tool for teaching yourself the art of mouse movement. To be honest though, I have caught myself playing this even though I'm pretty good with the ole mouse and keyboard. So yea, it's a fun little game that you won't exactly feel comfortable with penguins shooting snowballs at you, but you'll have fun and that's what games are for! (But the price sure doesn't help it's rating)

It's so cute... and then you get hit

Penguins Arena looks like a game or kids with all the cute characters and cartoonish graphics. But don't let these appearances mislead you! It's much more than this - it's a first person (or first penguin, as the authors say) shooter (snowballs all the way!) with fast-paced action, which requires quick reflexes and good planning. Moreover you get smart AI to fight against, which is a rare thing these days, and convenient controls configuration - without unnecessary complications and any weird ideas aimed at making the game seem more difficult than it actually is.

While the game is fun to play and looks so sweet, it is not without flaws. The game is a good multiplayer shooter but the rounds are pretty short, which may be unwelcome by some players, used to extended levels and serious approach to online gaming. The game offers very serious FPS experience wrapped in a candy-like sweet packaging.
