This is an incredibly shallow, but competent game. The gameplay consists of switching between characters to accomplish goals. Sadly, it begins to get very tedious very fast. However the game has a certain charm that makes it worth playing given the low price. The art style is gorgeous and the graphics are fantastic. the sound design is pretty good as well. this is one game I truly wish was in 3D. overall fairly repetitious, but undeniably charming.

2D puzzles.

In this game you guide 5 CreaVures though maps 2 at the time. There are 18 missions, which is enough for the game price. You've to change your CreaVures to solve the puzzles, which is hard sometimes. The graphics are great, this game is a 2D game but it does have 3D elements. The gameplay is nice and you've to really think about the puzzles. The music is really good it does fit a puzzle game. This game is cheap and worth every penny!

A nice puzzle game

Controlling five different creatures, CreaVures is a good puzzle-platformer. The game is very easy, the graphic full of colors and beautiful location, the soundtrack nothing special. If you are looking for a game to play in your spare time, give it a try.

Style over substance.

The graphics and sound are simply beautiful and the character design makes those nocturnal creatures look like living things. But don’t be fooled by it looks. The game gets boring fairly quickly, it’s repetitive and controls are a bit lacking. It’s just a mediocre platformer, incomparable to Trine series. In the game you’re in control of the CreaVure known as Bitey, and you have to find four other CreaVures. Game is divided into 5 chapters. You can control two creatures at a time so you can swap to utilize their unique abilities. Try it if you like books with nice cover.

Trine crossed with Avatar!

CreaVures as an incredibly aesthetically pleasing game, and reminds me of Trine crossed with Avatar, as the environments strongly resemble the forest of Pandora at night. Gameplay is also reminiscent of Trine, as you control multiple characters to complete a level, and is a 3D side-scrolling platformer.

The puzzles in this game are great, and they all work well as you combine the abilities of two CreaVures at a time to overcome objects, obstacles and challenges.

For such a low priced game, I wasn’t expecting much, but was greatly surprised! This game is an absolute MUST BUY for the price, and is well worth it. The game is absolute “eye candy” and surely not to be missed.
