The season pass for Borderlands 2 adds a huge amount of content in the form of 4 new campaigns to play through, adding additional story, items and end game content to play through and additional quests for those who enjoy the dialogue of Borderlands.

For the Most Badass...

Borderlands 2 is a wonderful game that everyone should play, but what happens when you fully upgrade every character, beat every mission, complete every challenge, and find all the easter eggs? This. This is the season pass for Borderlands 2 which includes 4 story expansions and adds an extra playthrough increasing the level cap to 61. All 4 dlc have their uniqueness and charm. The only dlc I wasn't a big fan of was the Sir Hammerlock dlc because it was very short. This is totally a great value because you get 4 expansions for the price of 3 and it adds hours of endless fun to your Borderlands experience. Have fun!

So much content, best way to get it.

Great value here, way cheaper then buying it individually, plus it is a lot easier too since its all together. For fans of this franchise, this is a no brainer. I bought this and never regretted it. Some of the DLC's are a bit shorter than others, but that didn't reduce the fun and loot hunt. I felt that the Tiny Tina's DLC was the best, I laughed many times throughout this DLC, but the others still had value and challenge, especially at the higher levels. Those damn witch doctors in the big game hunt drove me nuts, but loved every minute of it

For those who loved the basic Borderlands 2 game, whether with friends or on your own, will be happy to know that Gearbox has been giving loads of love and support to the game. Nearly all of it has been neatly tucked into this fantastic collection of DLC, offering four whole new areas and story lines to plunder and fight through. Plus, thanks to the included Ultimate Vault Hunter mode DLC, all that experience won't go to waste as you can now work your way from Level 50 to Level 61. If you need more convincing, here's a quick rundown of the included DLCs. Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage: Introducing the dynamic and literally explosive Mr. Torgue, you get to fight through various arenas, death races, and bar brawls to prove your manliness and to get a truckload of loot. Of note, this is one of the few places you can actually buy Legendary weapons in some manner, and while the environments don't have the best variety, you get lots of laughs thanks to Mr. Torgue's encouragement and insane tactics. Captain Scarlet and her Pirate's Booty: Starring the shamelessly treacherous and greedy Captain Scarlet, she's not quite as funny as the last headliner, but her campaign offers a bit more variety in environments and lots of new weapons to keep things interesting. If you like pirate adventures, this DLC does a decent job at poking fun at the genre while giving you some good times adventuring. Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt: When a Hyperion ship full of loot crash lands in the swamp, ol' Sir Hammerlock invites you to hunt for that and whatever beasties his quests demands. While Hammerlock is a bit funnier than Scarlet and there's the novelty of running through a vaguely Johnny Quest styled jungle and wilds, it's also missing that certain something to make it even better. Still, the even greater environment variety is appreciated and this DLC takes the gloves off in terms of difficulty if you though the last two bonus areas were a bit easier. Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep: In my opinion, this is the crown jewel of the DLC set. Starring the Borderlands 1 characters playing as the Borderlands 2 classes in Tiny Tina's new board game, you get to play through a twisted version of a formerly typical fantasy world. On the fly Dungeon Master tweaks, ridiculous and fun quests, and funny character interaction between Tina, her players, and the NPCs make this entertaining to play through. The heavy variety in enemy types, environments, and quests help a lot too. You can tell that as much as Gearbox pokes fun at the fantasy genre, they also show a lot of love to it as well, while putting their own spin on the classic sword and sorcery tropes. I truly had a great time with this DLC. Here's the short version for those still here: For the price you spend, you're getting enough content to make nearly another whole Borderlands game added on to Borderlands 2 and with new raid bosses, loot, and extra level ups you can earn, you'll have every excuse to march yourself and your friends into more Pandora adventures. Try the Season Pass, you'll love it.

If you like BL2.....

It is a must have and great content for the most part. Lots of new editions. A free bonus max level increase. And of course new weapons. I have not regretted any of my BL2 purchases and that includes this. Even better if you can find on sale. The season pass adds so much good content everyone who has BL2 should own it.

Great Content for Reasonable Price

This season pass is a must if you own the game already, all the DLC included adds much more to the story and items such as new weapons. The extra missions are fun to play and keep the funny spirit of the game.

Stellar Value

Well here we have Borderlands 2's first Season pass (the second season is almost upon us) and the last piece of DLC which is considered part of this pass has been released now. the base game of borderlands 2 already offers you countless hours of enjoyment, but there's something to be said for higher level caps, more weapon combinations and the hilarity that is the Tiny Tina DLC pack.... definitely a must buy if you own and love Borderlands 2!

Adds so much more

nightassassin1 | Aug. 19, 2013 | See all nightassassin1's reviews »

This pack is much cheaper than buying everything on its own and adds so much more to the game. It gives hundreds of new missions, maybe thousands, a good side story setting, some fun new people to meet, and even new vehicles. I personally liked the expansions to borderlands one more, however the latest installment of Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep was just great, other than the depressing parts about Roland. The pirate one was neat due to the new vehicles, but it lacked the humor found in the beginning of the dlc. The other two were not too bad, but also not too memorable. It was kind of a play and run, but it still added much more to the game and a new adventure to embark on with your friends. The biggest reason I enjoyed dragon keep is probably that I have played games such as D&D myself.

A must have for Borderlands 2 Fans!

This pack of DLC is great. The first 2 packs were not the best but were still fun none the less. The 2 other major DLC content packs were down right amazing. They are almost worth the Season Pass pricing on their own. Plus the Ultimate Vault Hunter mode which lets you level up even MORE! A great value for borderlands fans!

If You Have BL2 You NEED This.

You need it. All four DLCs are out and all of them are awesome. It include the 4 Add Ons and the Ultimate Vault hunter pack (which up the level cap to 61 and a new playthrough). Tons of fun and tons of extra hours of gameplay!

a must for owners of BL2

If you own Borderlands 2, you obviously need this! The DLC's are fun and add new guns, areas, stories, currency, bosses, etc. They're funny, too, which adds to the value.

Adding to the base Borderlands 2 game is this Season Pass. Play in new areas, get new weapons, fight new enemies, gain new levels (up to 61) - and still play with your friends!! The latest DLC was just added to the Season Pass (Tiny Tina returns) - go buy this right now - you know you love Tina! I bought extra copies just so my friends could experience this great new content with me.

Great deal

All of the Borderlands 2 Campaign DLCs and the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack included for less than it would be individually. You can't really get much better than that. All of the Campaign DLCs add much more play time to the game along with new weapons and weapon combinations. The Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack allows you to get to high levels up to 61. The base game by itself is a great buy, The season pass just adds on to the fun.

Great way to expand your Borderlands experience

Get all four Borderlands 2 expansions (DLCs) along with Ultimate Vault Hunter mode (ups level cap from lvl 50 to lvl 61). The 4th DLC Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep (Dungeons and Dragons type game called Bunkers and Badasses) is going to released June 25. Grab the BL2 Season Pass when GMG puts it on sale. This is one of the only DLCs deals that I feel was worth paying extra for. Got many hours of fun out it with friends and solo play.

The Season Pass so far...

skynet1245 | June 2, 2013 | See all skynet1245's reviews »

With three of the four promised pieces of story DLC launched I think it's appropriate to write a review for those who might miss out on this deal after the fourth DLC is released. When this pass was announced it was said to only deliver four story DLC, so the character skins packs, Creature Slaughter Dome, Special edition pack, and the new Psycho pack are not included. BUT Gearbox does include the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack which indeed adds more value to this pass while keeping the same price. So $30 for four story DLC each at $10 and a upgrade pack at $5 is quite the deal, even more so if you take advantage of Green Man Gaming's generous discounts.

Must buy

If your a fan of the excellent Borderlands 2 or even just finished Borderlands 1 and are looking at the sequel, You have got to grab this DLC. More than doubling the amount of content in the original game, this will add 5 (only 4 released as of writing) more expansive zones to the main world, add 1 whole additional difficulty to the game (Its not like it was missing, the first game didn't have it at all) and raise the level cap by 10. Each of these zones is filled with new missions, new vehicles, new characters, returning characters, new vendors, new jokes and Repeatable challenges. Easily worth the cost! A must for all BL2 owners! Fantastic.

great co-op experience! season pass is a no brainer

After having a blast beating the first game of the borderlands series I decided to go ahead and pre-order Borderlands 2 along with this season pass, which turned out to be well worth it. I teamed up with a buddy of mine and played 10 hours straight the day of its release. The game can get incredibly addicting and is some of the most fun I've had in a co-op game. After spending nearly a lifetime exploring the world of Pandora collecting the best gear and completing most all side missions, most of the dlc in the season pass had released. This includes Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty, Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage, Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt, the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack, and Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep. All of these give you more area to explore, and a couple hours of new story missions. The pack is obviously worth it saving you 15$ if you were already thinking about buying all 4 of these dlc packs individually. The Ultimate Vault Hunter pack is my favorite as it increases the level cap to 61 and allows for a third play through for your character. You gotta get this pack if you're hungry for more BL2 action.
