Aura is similar to, and obviously inspired by the classic Myst. You explore a futuristic world and have to figure out how to operate exotic machinery to make progress. Puzzles can be faily creative and challening enough to make the game fun even for experienced players. The story, on the other hand, is a complete mess. It sometimes feels like different aspects of the game were designed by different storywriters and artists who didn't talk to each other and who were given free reign to create the most fantastical thing that entered their imagination and that some poor soul was then given the task of creating a coherent whole from the different pieces without much success. You do get to explore some beautiful and interesting environemnts though. This and the good puzzles make for a fun game if you can look past the not so good story.
