To summarize DLC, it's like a dumbed down Roller Coaster Tycoon 3. Building an amusement park inside the city you already built, it is amazing! Normally you would just place the park on a free space but now you can actually build it! There are quite a few bugs and it does get repetitive after a while because of the limited options. But this is still a must-have DLC that's highly recommended to any Simcity player who wants a more immersive experience.

Sim City needs a bit of a makeover. It had a rough launch, it still has some problems and a nice remedy to this is some new content. This stuff is really cool and you can build this thing to whatever your desires are. Want to make it small? Large? Want to practically make your whole city an amusement park? Well, you can do that too. The sounds are excellent in this pack as well, which is something I never thought I'd say when reviewing this content. Give it a go and hope they release more content like this!

Simcity (2013) is the first of it's kind to offer specializations for cities from casinos to mining. Tourism is fun, but lacked a certain flare until this DLC came along. The amusement park brings in a new menu of tourism extensions for mayors to look over. It's pure fun. The system for building amusement parks is simple, plopping down the entrance and using the general expansion system used for parks and buildings like hospitals. While a person could speculate this DLC would be a milking for cash from mayors, this DLC seems to have had a lot of work go into it, which is surprising for people suspicious of EA products. The animations are well done, and the sound-schemes are perfect. You'll hear circus music and guests chattering now intermixed with the noise of the nearby highway and the far-off ambulances. The building brings in the real fun, bringing in a mini-game to the grand scheme of things. A miniature Roller Coaster Tycoon, if you will. A good purchase for people looking to extend the fun of the tourism specialization, and people who love the Roller Coaster Tycoon franchise.
Tons of fun!the_waren | May 30, 2013 | See all the_waren's reviews »
I thought this DLC from Simcity is well worth the $10 price tag unlike the city-sets they offered. It adds a lot of content to an existing tourism city or you can create a whole new tourism specialization. Great DLC and endless hours of fun.

This expansion pack added much to the experience to the gameplay, making it feel more "complete". The other expansion packs were very themed, making it hard to apply to all styles of gameplay. This DLC is possibly the only one that made itself applicable to almost every situation. It could almost be implemented into the game itself, Gameplay is not much different from other fields, it raises land value, and boosts town morale, while providing fun animations doing so. I appreciate the ability for the player to draw their own park path, rather than having to place it down on a "blue spot" exclusive space. Possibly the best ep for simcity 2012-13 out there, compared to the others.
