If you are into military strategy gaming, the name of UIG cannot be unknown to you - it's the team behind Achtung Panzer, which assures the guys know their trade. Now Steel Armor - Blaze of War is their take on military simulation genre. They stick to what they're good at - armored warfare. Their game is better for more involved players, with some knowledge about tanks and armored warfare, than for casual gamers. Some would argue that this is more of a strategy than simulation as you don't impersonate the crew in a visible way, but the degree of realism in this game made me call it a simulation, so maybe simulational strategy would be more accurate. You get to command armor in modern conflicts in 70s and 80s, multiple factions and nations are represtented and what was done to keep physics realistic puts this game on par with the best tank simulations available.
