A solid sequel that somehow falls a bit short of the original. The game looks good, and fans of the first entry in the series will probably enjoy this game as well, but it doesn't bring much new to the table. Aside from that it could have used a couple more months of polish, as some tech bugs get in the way.

Jack Keane 2: The Fire Within is the sequel to the original, though I did not play the original so I'm evaluating it on it's face.Throughout the game, you are confronted by puzzles. While most are interesting yet easy to work out, there are a few times where it takes you a minute to find all the oddly-placed pieces you need. There is also a fast and rudimentary card-based combat which is fun. Most important are the setting and characters, who are rich and entertaining. Overall it's a good action adventure/point-and-click puzzle game that will keep you playing it.

Jack Keane 2 is the sequel of the original game, settled seven years after the first adventure. Again, you will take control of Jack and Amanda, in a long journey....into your mind too! The puzzles are logical and the game is long, but the real improvment is on graphic side, that is really good for a point and click game. If you loved the first title, give this a try too.

While its well-crafted array of puzzles are fun whether or not you’re unaccustomed to games or not, its controls and technical hiccups remove the player from enjoying and immerse themselves in the game. Jack Keane might have what it takes to be your next daring adventurer, however this might not be your next go-to journey.
