The Sims 3 is honestly my favorite game of all time and I am absolutely thrilled that we can have houseboats and hotels and all sorts of tropical goodies. I would definitely recommend this expansion

This is by far one of the best expansion packs for the Sims. You are able to maintain you own resort and expand it until it becomes 5 stars. You learn the scuba diving skill set and are able to swim and explore underwater! There is also uncharted islands you can uncover. The houses are now also available through houseboats which you can locate wherever you like in the entire island and cruise in for pleasure. Mermaids are a new life-state and you can transform your sim through a special mermaid kelp. I truly recommend this to sim fans and people whom wish to have a laid back free world experience.

Sims 3 Plus Island Paradise is a good pack, combining the base game of The Sims 3 with an interesting expansion - Island Paradise, which adds a lot of tropical island related activities and items to the game. So not only you can dress your sims as Hawaiians, beach boys or scuba divers, but you can also furnish your homes in suitable styles. But the most fun I had with new activities in the new world of Isla Paradiso, which becomes available in the expansion. For example you can go snorkeling or diving, and maybe even meet a mermaid (or a merman) if you're lucky. And the longer you explote the island, the more new options you find and unlock. So if you want to try something new in your games of The Sims 3, this expansion sounds just fine.
