Reviews for Tropico 4: Junta

Solid, but makes the game a bit easy

Like the other Tropico 4 DLCs Junta adds new costumes, a trait, a mission and a new building to the game (as well as a few decoration items). The new mission is quite interesting as you do not get immigrants and solely rely on completing military based objectives to receive workers. The new bunker building lets you expand your military quickly without the need of generals. I feel however, that this makes the game a bit too easy as before you needed an armory (and college) to get generals to let you expand your army, but since the bunker overcomes this, the armory is pretty much redundant now. The new costumes and decorations are nice and help add little touches to your banana republic.

Great DLC

This DLC adds plenty of new content to the base game of Tropico four and it more than justifies the hefty price tag. The DLC improves the core game play of Tropico 4 in many ways. There are plenty of new additions to the game due to the DLC content including the bunker which makes it much easier to raise an army as less generals are needed. This is just one of the many new game play additions and changes and this DLC really does make you feel like a whole new dictator and a leader over your owned land. There is also a new uniform and a new character trait which is called "Veteran". This DLC is great!

This dlc does add some new buildings a new bunker, a guard station which doesn't require a general or 5 soldier houses. A new character trait called veteran. You also get a dress uniform. There also are some decoration items like guard booth, a small observation tower and a APC. There also is a new mission theme called new sparta. Overal this pack is worth it's price.

Tropico 4 Militarised

A solid DLC for Tropico 4. The bunker can be very useful when you need a bigger army but dont want so many generals. It allows you to recruit soldiers that do not need a general to look after them. The decorations here are also top-notch for anyone who wanted their Tropico islands to look just that little bit more militarized. Personally, I always wanted something like this for Tropico 3 (and 4), and felt that for a game set in the Cold War, the lack military buildings and equipment was an obvious hole. Great Price for a Great DLC.
