Reviews for Crusader Kings II: Russian Portraits

Cosmetic DLC

Adds a lot of new character portraits for Russian and Alan characters. While there is a good variety, a lot of the portraits that I have seen don't look that different than what was already available. This content adds nothing new to the gameplay and should be bought only if you want to increase your immersion with the game. At $2 it is a little pricey, you might want to wait for a sale. It would be nice if all the portrait packs came in a pack for a lower price.

a nice small expansion

Crusader Kings II does have alot of small expansions, the russian portraits, In this dlc you explore one of the defining periods in the history, crafted by the masters of strategy. Medieval Europe does add knights, shemes and thrones. I would recommend picking it up on full price. But if you're new to this game I would buy it on a sale.
